Chapter Five: Campus Royalties

Monday

Naglalakad na ako ngayon dito sa loob ng campus habang hila-hila ko ang maleta ko. Papunta na ko ngayon sa west wing dormitory. Boarding school nga kasi toh di ba? Hays. Ng makarating ako sa tapat ng bulletin board ng west wing ay saka ko lang napansin na kanina pa pala ako pinagtitinginan at pinagbubulungan ng mga estyudante dito. Anong problema nila?

"Siya na ba ang 1st princess? Ang ganda niya grabe..."
"Oo, siya nga. Para siyang anghel...."
"Ang cool niyang manamit..."
"Ang inosente niya nga lang tignan."
"Oy pare, new chiks. Haha!"
"Isa na lang..."
"Oy anong isa na lang?!"
"Gaga! Isa na lang kumpleto na ang campus princesses! Eh di ba apat dapat sila?!"
"Ay, oo nga noh? Asan na kaya si princess Krishna?"
"Shut your mouth, idiot! That name is forbidden here!"

Binigyan nilang lahat ng death glare yung babaeng nagsabi ng pangalang Krishna. What's the matter? What's with that name? And why are they calling me a princess?

"REIA!!" Napalingon ako sa tumawag sa akin. Si Charmaine lang pala kasama si Audrey na nakasunod lang sa kanya. I slightly waved at them and smiled.

"Grabe ang ganda niyang ngumiti..."
"Oo nga..."
"Mas bagay siyang maging first princess kesa kay princess Krishna...."
"Hey! I said shut your mouth up! The second prince will punish you if he heard you!! Tsk!"

Bulungan na naman ng mga tao sa paligid namin. Ano bang sinasabi nila na prince at princess? Anong meron?

"Exactly." Napalingon ako sa boses na biglang nagsalita.

Walang kabuhay-buhay ang boses na yon. Ngunit sobrang pirmi at kahahalataan mo ng pagkamataas. Tsk. I hate his aura. Siya ata yung lalaki sa airport eh. Yung muntikan na kong ilaglag sa hagdan. Hanep. Sino ba siya?

"Pri-prince Luis...." takot na sabi ng dalawang babaeng kanina pa nag-aaway dahil lang sa pangalang Krishna. Ano bang meron sa pangalang yon?

"Didn't I told all of you to stop bragging about that trash?" Kalamado pero malamig na sabi niya.

"So-sorry po... p-prince Lu-luis..." the girl said and it's obvious that she's nervous.

Lumapit naman si Audrey dun sa lalaking prince Luis daw.

"Hey! Stop that!" Sigaw niya.

The guy looked at her and gave her a glare. I walked towards their durection while dragging Charmaine beside me. We stand at the back of Audrey.

"And why would I do that?" The guy said and smirked at her.

"Hah! Asking why? Because it's also in the rule you damn prince! Hurting and bullying a freshmen girl student is forbidden. That's according to the rule of the Campus Royalties!" Audrey protested.

So may rules pala dito. Humakbang si Charm palapit sa tabi ni Audrey ng may mahinahon na ekspresyon at kalmado.

"First rule: Respect the Campus Royalties, especially the first prince and princess." Nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita si Charmaine. "Second rule: Do not hurt or bully any student in the freshmen and sophomore levels. Third rule: If you broke any rule, detention. Fourth rule: You must wear proper uniforms." And nagpatuloy na naman siya.

"And Fifth: Each royalty has one or two rules to make each school year. Break only one of them, and you'll be thrown out of the school." She added calmly.

Ako naman ang humakbang at tinanggal ang shades ko. Eh nakasuot yan kanina eh. Kaya nga nagtataka ako kung pano ako nakilala ng mga estyudyante. At tutal, alam ko na kung ano ako sa Campus na toh... ako naman ang eeksena *innocent smirk

"And as we can see, two of you broke the Fourth rule while one of you broke the Second rule. And one of you also broke the First rule." I smiled innocently. I'm not an idiot. Based on the student's reactions earlier, it's obvious that I'm their first princess.

I looked at the guy who almost got me into an accident back at the airplane's ladder.

"And you mr. Second prince, broke two rules. Isn't it unfair if we only captured you and put you into a detention as punishment?" I looked at the students. "Now I made my two rules. First, if you broke two or more rules, serve all of the students here at the Campus, especially, us. The princesses. Second," I looked at the guy beside him. And he has a golden pin at his right chest.
"Second, I can make or break any rules and no one can do that but me." I said and flashed my innocent grin.

"Now, now. When will you start, prince Luis?" Audrey asked while smirking evily. Now that's the Audrey I knew.

"Tsk." Luis glared at me. "Who are you anyways? Why are you interfering at the Royalty's discussions? Isn't that breaking a rule too?" He asked. I chuckled. Tila namangha naman ang lahat sa pagtawa ko ng mahinhin. Oo, LAHAT.

"Aren't you listening? I mentioned that 'US' word earlier. And that means, I'm a Campus Royalty too." I stepped closer to him. "I'm Reia Monteflavia, the new first princess of the Campud. It's nice to finally meet you, Luis. And you just broke another rule. So I decided to start your punishment, right now." I said.

"All students, you may now go to the second prince for him to serve you, HUMBLY. If ever he demand or do something bad at you, tell us immediately. His punishment will end at the end of the third week of this month." Charmaine announced.

"And as for you two, head to the detention room immediately!" Charm gave the smiling guy a glare. Siya yung walang nilabag na rule. Apat kasi silang magkakasama eh. "Escort them, Clause. Don't ever think about escaping. We have our ways to know if you did." Charmaine said sharply. She's kind of scary.

"Now all of you, proceed to your respective dorms! All classes are suspended for today!" A student announced. Sinabihan kasi siya ni Audrey na i-announce. Siya ata ang representative sa batch namin.

"Tsk. You'll pay for this, princess." Dinig ko pang sabi ni Luis. I looked back at him.

"How much?" I asked. Wala naman ng mga students eh. Pede na kong magtodo sa katarayan ko.

"As valuable as your life, princess." Sabi niya ng nakangisi. Mamamatay tao ata toh eh! Buhay ko daw ang kasinghalaga? Aba ayos ah.

"Tsk. As if you can. Bye!" Sabi ko at tinalikuran na siya para puntahan ag detention. Ang first princess daw kasi ang magpapataw ng patakaran at parusa sa oras ng detention. Eh nung nawalan ng first princess ay si Charmaine ang namahala at humalili sa posisyon niya katulong si Audrey. At ngayong meron na ulet, sila na ang magtuturo sa akin kung paano. But, I think I don't need lessons anymore kaya di ko na sila pinagturo. I know how to rule a kingdom and ruling a Campus is nothing compare to that.

Pagdating ko sa detention room ay naabutan ko don si Charmaine at Audrey na nasa labas kasama yung tatlo pang prinsipe. Tsk. I walked towards them and faced them with a poker face.

"So? Have you decided yet?" Tanong sa akin ni Audrey habang nakataas ang isang kilay.

"Yes. During detention, write 1000 words saying that you're sorry for what you've done in a bond paper. No erasure, no mistakes. You'll use a black ballpen and you need to finish that in 5 hours. If you can't do that in 5 hours, a community service will do. Is that clear?" I said. Nanlaki naman ang mata nung lalaking maayos ang damit at mukhang happy go lucky habang yung dalawa naman ay napairap sa ere. Tsk. Ang aarte nila.

"Any violent reactions?" Nagtaas ng kamay yung lalaking mukhang playboy na hindi din nakauniform ng maayos.

Magsasalita na sana siya pero pinutol ko siya.

"Oh, I've changed my mind." Then I smiled at them evily. "You'll do your punishment in 4 hours. Any violent reactions?" Wala ng nagtangkang magtaas pang kamay kaya ngumiti ulit ako at tumango. "Good. We'll leave you then." Sabi ko matapos nilang pumasok sa detention room.

Audrey locked the room and gave me tha key. Tsk. Bwisit na mga prinsipe yan. Hah! Campus Royalty pala ha, nice... *smirk
