When the Future Visits the Past (Sirius Black)

Cuts and bruises #10

The next morning I wake up to Remus changing back, he got up before us all and moved away so not so wake us. I awoke anyways along with Sirius because we heard his whimpers of pain no matter how quiet he tried to be our senses were sharp, being predators in our other form had its advantages. 

I change into my human form once it's safe and walk over to the quivering form on the floor in the far corner. I quickly check his injuries and use couple of healing spells on the cuts and bruises that can be healed. Not all injuries can be healed magically if they were caused by himself as a werewolf or another wolf.

After he's been healed as best as I could Sirius and I take him to the hospital wing As carefully as possible avoiding every person who happens to be crazy enough to be awake at this absurd time of day.

The day seems to go by as slow as possible, I really want to visit Remus but I can't get out of class, and unlike the other boys I care about school, plus I have potions today and I need to get a good grade for my owls even if I'm learning in the past it is still owl year for my age.

I have Severus as a partner in potions now because slughorn got fed up with mine and Sirius' prank war. "Pass the chopped lacewings." Drawled Severus. Harry told me that he was a bully to Harry and the rest of Gryffindor but from what I see he's the victim, the marauders pick on him and the Slytherins force him into the dark arts. I quite like Snape, he's kind when he wants to be but usually never shows it. I've only seen it a couple of times and only when Lily is around.

"You have to stir it five times counter clock wise not four" I correct him watching him correct it in his notes without a word.

Our potion is perfection today we easily get the highest mark. As class ends I grab my bag shove my books in it, yelling bye to Sev, running to the hospital wing in record time.

Once in the hospital wing I walk over to the bed hidden by the curtain for privacy. I sit on the bed and turn to Sirius only to see a hilarious sight causing me to fall off the edge of the bed I was had just sat on in order to roll on the ground laughing. It seems that he has been in a fight but he won't tell me who it was but I suspect it was with his latest fling. Sirius isn't one to admit to loosing a fight especially not to a girl. Sirius has one eye swollen shut and he is peppered with claw like cuts and bruises. For a such a small girl she did quite the number on him.
