When the Future Visits the Past (Sirius Black)

Summer plans #11

"Lilyflower will you please write to me over the summer?" Asks James for the twelfth time this morning.

Lily glares at him while I sit there giggling to my self knowing that she fancies him but won't admit it for fear of making his ego inflate that much more. I also giggle over the fact that they will end up together in the end no matter how much she fights it.

Looking out the carriage window I see the theastals pulling them. I saw my uncle pass a couple years ago, he was attacked for being gay in a conservative community. I hate that people still aren't all over prejudices, at least the wizarding world in my time is mostly over there prejudices, sadly not in this time yet.

I tune back into the conversation to hear Sirius talking about another girl. To be honest I'm kind of disappointed now, through the year I've grown to like Sirius a lot and he always seems to have a new girl on his arm every other week some last longer others not so much. I really wish that Sirius would settle his hormones a little bit, I don't care to hear about his latest shag it's quite gross.

Sirius

Ugh summer I can't believe the year is over now I have to go home to my awful family. The conversation is pretty boring I tune it out. My thoughts wander to a green eyed beauty I've come to love. I've tried everything to get her out of my head but it's impossible! She is beautiful, smart, fun, temperamental, great at pranks, she does this thing when she is thinking about something important where she flairs her nostrils and cracks her joints, it's absolutely adorable when she is angry, and I think her hair is the most glorious thing ever when she flips it back out of her face. She is my heart.

I feel a nudge on my leg and look over to see Remus mouth to me "Pads your staring again". Life saver he is, that man has been saving me from being caught at least a thousand times this week alone.

To get my mind off her I start talking about my latest fling even though my heart isn't in it.

Jetta

We make it to the train and they all go to there respective compartments I start to head to my usual compartment then remember that it's in the Slytherins section I can't go there in this time, so I backtrack and follow remus' head because he's so tall that I can see him over everyone.

I find myself seated with the rest of the marauders in there compartment. These boys mean so much to me if I ever get back to my time I will miss them so much.

I realized a couple weeks ago that my parents aren't even born yet so I can't go home for the summer, which led me up to headmasters office to try to arrange something.

"Well miss Estella, I'm sorry. It you cannot stay at the school over summer we don't allow students to stay. We could try to arrange for you to stay at the three broomsticks over sum-"

"I don't have the money with me sir, I can't afford it my gold is all in the future" I interrupt.

"Perhaps with one of your friends then?"suggests the professor.

That could work but which friend....

Lily? No I wouldn't be able to deal with petunia from what I heard she's a nightmare and I have a very short temper most days.

Sirius? No his family despises muggles and muggleborns, I'd manage to get Sirius disowned if I stayed with him. Plus his mother is terrifying I've heard enough howlers to stay away. I don't know how Sirius lives with that despicable troll of a woman.

Remus? That could be good for him someone for the full moon and bonus for me I miss Teddy less when I'm around him, they are so alike it's amazing. The only issue is I don't know if his parents will allow people to stay for extended time because of his furry condition.

Peter? Nope he's going away for the summer plus knowing his future I'm not to keen on getting closer to him.

That leaves James.... the potter family has always seemed so nice and his parents from what Sirius tells Harry in the future will help anyone in need.

It seems as though my only viable option is to see if James will have time for the summer.

"So it's settled then? I will summon James to arrange this." Says Dumbledoore.

I sigh and look back to the boys they seem to be up to no good as per usual, "what are you boys planning this time?" I ask.

"Nothing" they all say in unison. I'm suspicious of them but I keep my mouth shut if they want to tell me they will besides if they prank me then they are gonna get it back even worse they know my temper and over excessive pranks.

I look back out the window for a while, watching the scenery pass it's less developed than in my time and it's beautiful.

Sirius

I have an idea, so since this compartment is ours I figure we can carve our names into it somewhere but our marauders names. I explain this to the boys and we get started.

Jetta asks what we are doing but this doesn't concern her not yet anyway. She isn't a marauder, even if I wish she was.

The train ride is uneventful Jetta falls asleep on my shoulder, Remus reads his book, Peter eats sweets from the trolley, and James works on quiditch plays.
