When the Future Visits the Past (Sirius Black)

These last few months have been great, I actually have a rival for pranks it's way more fun when they have some Fire to fight back with. After the pink incident Sirius put a charm on my robes to make them change colour according to my mood. The colours were opposite to what you'd expect happy was a dark blue and sad a bright pink angry a green etc. Then I got him back with a aging potion in his pumpkin juice. We went back and forth with this. The last one was a prank I devised for both Slytherins and Gryffindors alike, I ended up swapping all of our colours for the rest of the week.

Tonight's a full moon, the fourth one this year I think I should make an appearance. I know that Remus doesn't go to his afternoon classes on full moons so, since I have a spare last block I make my way up to the boys dorm to visit him.

I knock on the door, "Hey Remus is it alright if I come in? I have something I want to talk about."

"Yeah" comes a weak response.

"Man Lupin you don't look so hot." I observe before asking "Remus I have something to say, I feel like I can trust you. I can trust you right? It's kinda important."

"Yeah I wouldn't tell anyone anything that you don't want to be known." Says Remus honestly with a weak nod towards the bed indicating that I can sit.

"Okay here goes" I say before changing into my tiger form instead of saying anything or moving to the bed.

Remus jumps up surprised by my transformation. "Woah you're an animagus. Honestly I didn't see that one coming I thought you were gonna prank me."

I change back before saying "No honestly I wanted to tell someone but I didn't know who to trust I figured you would be better than Lily because you are a lot like my old best friend before I came here." So much like Teddy,I can see where he gets it from, I think to myself. "But can we prank the boys. Pretty please Remus?"I hop onto the bed careful not to hurt the poor boy.

"What do you have in mind? I will give you warning I'm not feeling very well today so nothing extraneous." Warns Remus lying back on his bed.

"Oh nothing that will involve any labor from you I promise. Since it's your time of the month and I understand that that is never pleasant." I remark smirking good-naturedly. 

Remus' eye widen in fear before saying "what do you mean time of the month?"

"Oh you know, it's just that every full moon I've been here for you've been under the whether for. I know the moon cycles because one of my best friends father was a werewolf. My friend didn't end up becoming a werewolf he just got really moody around the full moon." I see Remus' shocked expression and add "don't worry I know how to keep a secret". Remus' visibly relaxes when I say this.

"So you wanted to prank the boys? What do you have in mind?" Remus changes the subject back while pulling his blanket up over his legs.

"I want to surprise them with my animagus form." I state plainly. "You only have to when they question why I'm here just say that you wanted a new pet or something along those lines, anyways class should be over the boys should be back in a few minutes. Oh and before I forget I brought chocolate". I hand him the chocolate and shift. I jump up next to him laying my head on his lap back end laying against Sirius' bed which is next to Remus' today.

"You know I think I'm starting to like you." Exclaims Remus with a laugh "You would make a decent marauder."

Purr in response lazily yawning as the door opens.
