When the Future Visits the Past (Sirius Black)

After last nights incident I woke up to a bright light shining in my face. I role out of bed and get ready for the morning before heading down stairs to breakfast with Alice and lily.

"What happened last night?" Asks Lily with Alice also nodding along in question.

"Just some Slytherins trying to bully me for my blood status is all. I easily beat with them though with a bit of help from Sirius." I answered sitting down on the bench.

"I'm glad your okay" says Alice before stuffing a hard boiled egg in her mouth.

I see Sirius walk in and sit on the far side of James glancing at me shortly before he looks down and his food refusing to look up.

"I wonder what's up with Sirius?" Says Lily as if she is reading my thoughts, "he always greets you in the mornings".

"I don't know Lils, he practically ignored me last night as well once we got back from the confrontation. He barley even said goodnight before he rushed up to his room, I guess I'll talk to him in charms later and see what's up."

Time skip

"Good morning class, today we are going to start something new. Today we will learn how to cast magical family tree charm, the one we will be using today is basic it will only go back two generations, I know that some of you have family trees at home already but we will be looking into how they are created and to what is the purpose of one and the origin spells and history of it. I expect to see a foot long essay and your personal tree on parchment by tomorrow morning. I would suggest you start with your trees so that I can help you should you need it." Explained flitwick

"So what's up Siri? Did I do something wrong?" I ask concerned and confused.

"Oh! No Jetta you haven't done anything wrong. I just didn't sleep well last night is all." Sirius quickly answers.

"Oh, okay then" I reply before turning to my work still slightly concerned but not wanting to push.

I study the incantation and wand movements before giving it a go. On my first try I think I succeed, I watch as it branches out from my name I see my mum come up first and then her parents and then I look and watch as the other side appears and I freeze. I must have done something wrong this can't be right.

I try again and reach the same results I quickly grab both papers before anyone sees and run from the room.

"Hey, where are you going Jetta" "miss Estella I must insist you return to your seat." I hear being called after me but I ignore them.

I run through the halls and up the stairs I'll I stop in front of the gargoyle.  I screech the pasword and barely wait for the gargoyle to move before I run up.

I come to a halt outside the headmasters office and wait by the open door leaning on the doorframe catching my breath.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Asks the headmaster.

"I was in charms professor and we were working on the family tree project.... I seem to have a mistake with mine, I didn't think I did it right so I tried again with the same results," I explain putting down my trees in front of him. "You see this isn't my father on the tree, my father is a squib, this man is no squib he's a pure blood."

"I see" murmurs Dumbledore, "well, because you were originally sorted into Slytherin, if you should so choose seeing as you are no longer a muggleborn I believe it should be safe enough for you to return to your proper place..."
