Angels v/s Demon

Back in hostel

Swetha and Monika were waiting for us eagerly. I was glad to see them all. I thought I will never see them as I had some negative thought about these people we were about to meet but gladly it wasn’t too bad.

Swetha was quiet but her eyes sparkled when she saw us. I think she wasn’t expecting us to return safely. As she saw us she leaped towards us, in hurry she misplaced her foot and slipped. She felt on me pushing both of us backwards and I felt strong but firm body preventing me from falling on ground. I raised my eyes to see the owner of those strong arms and met those glassy eyes of Amit. An unusual flutter was felt in my heart, my heartbeat increased as if my heart was going to explode and I got butterflies in stomach. I was lost in my thought but soon realised we were having staring contest for quite long period. I snapped out from staring contest when I heard Swathi whining out of pain. She ended up with sprained leg.

“Miss fallen angel, are you okay? You should be careful you know, you should see before you jump out.” Swathi said laughing but still in caring tone.

“Yeah I am okay was just excited to see you guys Swetha replied.

“Yeah... yo..u sh..should be ca..careful” I said stuttering not knowing what to say. I did not even know why I was stuttering.

“Why are you stuttering?” Swathi asked me while eyeing me suspiciously. I scanned room to see everyone giving me wired look.

“N.nothing” I managed to say but still feeling nervous due to their stares plus I had still light flutter in my heart. I was still uncomfortable as I felt Amits unbreakable gaze on me. I felt unusual shiver running into my spine in pleasant way. But I was still nervous not knowing what was going on. Then I decided to brush it off and not think about it.

“How was the meet? Was it any important and can it help us?” Monika asked.

“Yes. They are group of people who are against Cain and known as CAD or Council Against Demon. I think we got our mentor. We don’t have to worry about creating our group instead we will work together. We are not alone in this world.” Swathi told. It was true. We had own group now.

“Do you think they will let us in?” Monika was still sceptical about them letting us in.

“Yes. The mentor turns to be Suryavanshi mentor. He will guide us. He knows almost everything about Avni and her family. He also knows about the thing that ANGELS will come to save the world” Monika and Swetha stood there with their mouth hung open.

“They are willing to take us in. We are joining tomorrow. We need to plan out strategy. We are having lot of war planning and training to do but it needs guidance.” Swathi said. I could see she was stressed and tensed.

“Where are Raj and Veer?” Swathi asked Monika.

They are with other guys. Yesterday they were activated to some extent. So we decided not to use any power that’s why we haven’t spoken today and we cannot use telepathy link in your absence as we might not able to control them . Now we need to talk altogether.” Monika suggested in monotone.

“Why what happened? And is it somehow related to my usage of power?” I was too concerned and I know it was somehow related to me may be that was the reason why Amit and Monika were quiet.

“Yes. Since you used power and woods are not exactly very far away from here, they were triggered of their dormant powers.” Swathi explained and it was right. They would have activated to worst if I lost my control.

“I quickly nodded in agreement. I was confused. I had to use my powers. No! It was understatement; I was bound to use my powers.

“What to do now? I will have to use powers or learn to use them otherwise my training will be affected” I asked worried deep somewhere I was concerned about my responsibilities even though I wanted to and hide somewhere, I was happy and enjoying it.
