Eavesdropping

As I turned back, I was shocked to see mentor standing with huge smile on his face.  I flinched as I was sure about activation being private but soon realized that he was our family mentor so he will surely know about activation sooner or later..

“See the surrounding, energy produced while you were fighting and later when you were activated made this effect so you can imagine how powerful you are? It could have gone worse if I hadn’t used my powers. Even though you were activated too early, it is supposed to be for better.”  He said smiling but I could see discomfort and tension that was eating him.

“I can see it too; do you think something is wrong?” Gati interrupted, I turned over to see her, and she was not speaking but just busy staring in space.

“Did you speak?” I questioned

“I did but in mind, I asked question to myself.” She answered.

“It’s because your telepathic link activated.” Monica informed us, now she was also into telepathy link and I remembered that this is how they were talking to each other.

“I know you are confused because of my presence over here all of sudden, I am your family mentor so I knew all this was going to happen one day. Now it’s time where you have to overtake CAD academy and run it successfully, plan your strategies, learn and I will train you.”  He was such a determined person at this age too, though he was very calm, I could see that he was fierce about Cain’s behavior.

“We are ready but unaware from where to start.” Esh whined.

“Avni, open the box that I gave you. There is journal that prophecies wrote about demon. Those prophecies were mostly your progenitors who fought with demon since centuries and now trait is passed to you.”  He stopped; his vibe was intimidating but same time it was screaming truth, love and dedication.

We are ready to choose our fate, if we are chosen one then who are we to deny that responsibility?” Gati assured and we were shocked because these words came from the girl who was just furious and wanted to finish the earth just a while ago.

“Teleport them back to hostel, let them rest for today and you all come to CAD,  I need to talk to you in private.” We frowned as mentor called protectors to Cad alone without us. We wanted to argue but we knew better to not argue with such an old man and try to go to place where we weren’t invited. Amit quickly teleported us to girls hostel.

“Esh , Neel, Luv can you stay over for some time, at least till they are back? I almost pleaded.

“Yeah, I think you should stay and bond with your siblings and please don’t lose your control and do something stupid that you will have to regret .Especially, you boys, don’t get caught into girl’s hostel.” Amit teased and left.

“What will we do now?”

“We need to know what is going between mentor and protectors.” It was just comment by Esh but had seriousness.

Please don’t tell me to teleport, I seriously don’t know how to teleport myself, I never did that.” I snapped back while refusing to do use powers without knowing how to use it.

“Then we will have to find another option, speed, what do you say Gati?” Esh questioned Gati.

“Wow, someone is smart enough to acknowledge me, by the way, I am ever ready to eavesdrop.” Gati agreed instantly but not without taunting Esh which he answered with smug smile.

“By the way, my not so innocent brothers and sisters, you don’t know where CAD is…” I said sarcastically.

“I know you went there and you will take us there dear stupid medieval.” Gati poked me in stomach but stopped when I sent a deadly glare towards her.
