Avni's POV. The Strange Thing Happening.

AVNI'S POV (UTTARAKHAND)

"No mum, please don't leave me alone" I said to my mum, my world was falling apart. My mum was dying. She was taking her last breaths in this world lying bloody on my laps.

"It's my time to go my little princess, I have to go, I may not be there physically with you but my soul will protect you, you have all responsibilities of the world. You are a key to happiness of humanity, now onwards I won't be there to protect and love you. You will have to protect yourself and take care of yourself, your brother and your dad. Be strong and keep yourself safe. No matter what, just don't leave the things I taught you; don't leave your human heart and values of humanity even though you have threatened to be killed. " My mum said to me between her heavy stuttering breaths. A dagger was inserted deep in her stomach.

"No, Nita, you cannot leave me and our two little kids. They are too young to raise themselves alone. "My dad said between tears.

"It's time, just leave this place. Change your names and don't be in contact of this city or any person of this city, don't return. Dispose my body here as soon as I die and never come to see me back. I'm gone from now so it doesn't matters whether you come to see the place where I took my last breath or not. Pruthvi's safety is your first priority from now onwards. She is the key to world's happiness. Just promise me that you will protect this jewel forever." My mum said to my dad asking for a promise.

"I promise, but I can't take care of her alone. I need you. I can be good father but not mother." my dad said. He was crying.

"You have to be her everything. Rename her Avni from now onwards." My mum said and closed her eyes forever.

I shot up straight in my bad. It was my house and not the woods. I was trembling in fear as the dream of my mum woke me. It was my daily dream that I had been getting since I was five. My mum died. Someone killed her. I still remember the day when my mum died. I still didn't get what she said but from that day onwards my dad changed places every two years. As much as I hated moving from a place to place because of fear or may be because of dad's job as he says. I wanted to give good life to my brother Soham. So I decided to go away from them.

If someone thinks that I'm coward, then no, I'm not a coward. I just wanted to have good education, a stable life and provide good life to my father and brother so that they will be happy. I had a glance over a clock. It was around two in the morning. I couldn't sleep for longer as I always was getting scary dreams. I was kind of used to these dreams. I was not happy in my life. I missed my mum. I had lot more responsibilities then other teenagers of my age. I was total wreck and mess psychologically but it was okay until and unless my dad, brother and my best Swathi was there with me.

If you ask me about Swathi, She is awesome and I can write novels on her. She is my best friend since I was five. How we met I really don't know. She is the best person in my life whom I can trust with closed eyes.

I was bit uneasy as I just got dream. I couldn't sleep so I thought of finding some names of good colleges. I googled and found out a best college in nearby locality which could provided me best facilities in affordable fees. I checked for all the details and found out the SIET. Selaqui Academy. Selaqui Institute of Engineering And Technology. I just had to tell my dad now about this college.

I still had that anxious feeling, I decided to make some coffee and read some articles on electronics. I came downstairs to make coffee. Everyone was sleeping. While I was preparing coffee I thought I would open the window so that fresh air comes in and all the heat that was produced while making coffee, dissipate in air. I was also getting suffocated due to my own problems.

I felt slight movement in the bushes behind my house. As if someone was watching me doing something. It felt like I was stalked, but I brushed it off thinking it could be some animal from the woods. Still an unknown fear crept into me sending chills all over my body.
