"Are you sure you'll be alright?"

You glanced over your shoulder and shifted the pack on your back. "Yeah. I'll be fine." The man who'd given you a ride to Dressrosa looked doubtful.

"You sure?"

You glared at him. "I'm a traveling merchant. You think I've never been alone before?" You gaze softened and you bowed at the waist. "I appreciate your concern. Really, I do. But I'm fine."

He finally nodded and you turned, limping away as you dragged your lame leg behind you.

~~~
"Thank you!" You waved to the people as they wandered off and stuffed the cash in your pocket. Humming as you went, you walked through Dressrosa's streets. It really was a pretty place.
Arriving at your inn, you stashed your large pack in your room, before heading back out, this time without the intention of work. Wandering around, you breathed in the fresh air with a smile, enjoying the feeling of the wind as it cooled with sunset.
You limped around the now-empty streets, head tilted up toward the stars. You heard a noise behind you, a quiet shift. But before you could turn towards it, you were struck in the back of the head and your vision went black.
~~~

You groaned at the pain, groggily raising your head. You tried to reach your hand towards your head, only then noticing that you were tied up. Bright lights suddenly flared to life and you were yanked to your feet and shoved toward the light.

Staggering at the sudden push, you stood, bound and shaky.

"AAAALRIGHT EVERYBODY! NEXT UP, A STRANGER FOUND WANDERING THE STREETS! SHE'S A PRETTY YOUNG GIRL, AND WITH A LEG LIKE THAT, HOW'S SHE GUNNA RUN AWAY?! EH, FOLKS?!"

A roar came after the words, and you almost peed yourself right then and there. Why did everything bad have to happen to you? Maybe the universe just hated you or something. It was bad enough that your leg got crushed a while back when you were at the Drum Kingdom, but now you were getting sold as an object on some black market of sorts. Seriously, universe? Seriously?

You flinched as bids were taken and prices were yelled. Your lame leg gave out, and you almost fell, leaning awkwardly to the side and giving a startled mewl of pain.

Apparently this only made you more wanted.

Your eyes finally adjusted to the light, and you were able to look out at the crowd. There were so many people. Shaking, you wondered if you could run, but the idea was quickly discarded. With a lame leg, you couldn't get anywhere fast, and besides that, you had no idea where you were. For all you knew, you could be underground.

Then the shouts started to die down. Apparently, some people were only willing to spend so much. In a lull that followed, before the auctioneer could announce the winner, a voice spoke up from the back.

"That won't be necessary."

Gasps rippled through the crowd and they backed toward the walls, clearing the center isle for a man. He was big. Really big. At least ten feet tall, with a huge pink feather coat that make him look even bigger than he was. Dark-lensed shades, an unbuttoned white shirt, and bright orange pants finished the picture, and he walked with a confident swagger.

His short blond hair glowed gold when the lights touched it, and his grin made you think 'Rapist'.

Before mounting the stage, he turned toward a woman who had a dog on a leash at her heels. Reaching down, he removed the dog's collar and took the leash from the woman's hands. "I'm going to need this." He purred the words and the woman fainted.

Ignoring the unconscious lady, he walked up the few steps to the stage and moved toward you. You tried to back away, but your lame leg almost made you trip.

He put the collar on your neck, for a moment letting his fingertips brush against your skin. "You're mine now, pup. All mine."
