DoFlamingo gently ran his hand through your hair and you shifted closer to him, yawning. He chuckled. "Why are you always tired?"

"I'm a woman. I could sleep for a week, and still be tired if I felt like being tired."

"I don't think it works that way."

"First rule of women: we're always right."

He laughed and you smiled. He turned toward you, grinning.

"What?"

"Come on." He grabbed your hand and pulled you to your feet, scooping you into his arms when he remembered your twisted leg.

"DoFlamingo, what are you doing?"

"You'll see. But I need clouds."

"What?"

"What?"

You blinked in surprise as he headed for the door and flung it open, carrying you out in his arms. You couldn't remember the last time you'd been somewhere other than that room. You'd almost forgotten that there was an anything else.

DoFlamingo held you carefully in his arms, walking in a way that wouldn't jar you too much. You looked around curiously at the stone walls and high windows. Servants scurried out of the giant's way and for a moment you were startled by the fear on their faces.

But then you remembered DoFlamingo's reputation. Apparently he's a tyrant king. Huh. The things you forget.

You flinched when he walked outside into the bright sunlight, the warmth of the rays making you sleepy again. You yawned. DoFlamingo booped you on the nose. "Don't fall asleep."

"I'm tryin'." You weren't really.

"Just look." You looked up at him.

'He's beautiful, too.' You blinked at the sudden thought. But almost every thought was blown from you mind as DoFlamingo reached towards the clouds and started to fly, with you clinging to him.

You let out a high pitched yelp and you felt him laugh. He poked your cheek. "Hey. (Y/N). Look." You raised your head, shaking. "Ever wonder how a bird feels?"

DoFlamingo grinned at you, floating on his back with all those feathers billowing out around him. You sat on his stomach, shivering with fear.

"I won't let you fall."

Giving him another scared look, you peeked around him at the city beneath. And all you fear melted away. It was beautiful, the expanse of the city spread out beneath you. Bright colors mingled together, and you thought you could see people walking down the streets. "How can you...?"

DoFlamingo moved his fingers like he was manipulating a puppet, and you saw string shimmer in the sunlight. "A Devil Fruit. I can hold on to the clouds."

You laid down on him, your head on his chest. "It's quiet up here, at least."

"Not during a thunderstorm."

"Now, why would you do a thing like that."

"Curiosity."

You huffed and looked up at him. "You're not alone anymore, Doffy."

Even with those sunglasses on, you could see the surprise on his face. "Wha...?"

You reached up to lay your hand on his cheek. "We're both pretty broken, huh? So maybe we can be broken together?"

His expression softened and he laid his hand over yours. Taking off his glasses, he looked straight into your eyes. "Maybe our pieces will be enough to make a full person."

You gave a soft laugh. "Maybe."
