You woke up early than DoFlamingo for once. Carefully maneuvering out of his grip, you started to crawl towards the edge of the bed, but strong arms pulled you back. "Doffy, let me go."

He didn't respond. He wasn't even awake.

Sighing in defeat, you settled back down and let him hold you.

~~~
When you woke up for the second time, your shifting woke your husband. DoFlamingo raised his head and yawned, giving you a sleepy smile before leaning down to kiss you. "Good morning."
"Good morning."
He shifted down and pressed his face against your stomach, swollen with his child. "Good morning~"
You laughed. "How do you know they can hear you?"
"He can."
"So it's a boy, huh?"
"Yes."
"Whatcha basing that assumption on?"
"I just know." He kissed your tum before getting up and stretching. "You'll see."
~Four Months Later~
Pain woke you up. Gasping, you managed to sit up past your stomach, swollen with your child. "DoFlamingo... Ah! Doffy." You pushed at his shoulder and the man slowly started to wake.
"Eh...? Wha' is it...?" He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "What's wrong?"
"I think I just went into labor."
"Whaa...?"
"I'm giving birth, Doffy."
He fell off the bed.
~~~
Pacing outside the door, DoFlamingo growled low in his throat. He hated this feeling of being completely useless. If something didn't happen soon, he was either going to break something or kill someone.

"Well, this is taking a while." You panted with fatigue as another contraction ended.

"You're doing good, you're almost done." The doctor put a hand on your stomach, brow furrowed in concentration. "Alright, here we go."

DoFlamingo covered his ears and sat, shivering, in the corner, as another of your screams ripped through the silence. Whimpering quietly, he wrapped his coat around himself and tried to make himself as small as possible.

Why did it have to hurt you? Why? He didn't understand. When you screamed again he had to grit his teeth to stop himself from screaming with you.

~~~
"You're done, (Y/N), you're done." The doctor's voice reached your ears and you shifted slightly.
"Is it a boy or a girl...?"
"A boy. You've got a perfect baby boy."
You smiled. DoFlamingo was right, after all. The doctor handed you your baby, cleaned and wrapped in a fluffy pink blanket. "Hello, baby." You gently touched your newborn's face, amazed that you were holding him in your arms. The doctor was right. He really was perfect.
DoFlamingo jumped to his feet when the doctor walked out. He grabbed the man by the throat and pinned him to the wall. "Is she okay?"
The doctor gasped for breath and, unable to speak, nodded. DoFlamingo dropped him and rushed through the doorway, desperate to see for himself that you were fine.
But when he reached the doorway and saw you laying there, a small bundle in your arms, he froze, unable to do anything more than stare. But when you turned your head and reached out to him, he finally managed to stagger to your side and collapse to his knees beside your bed.
"Hi, Doffy..." You shifted so he could see the baby in your arms. "Look. It's our son."
He started to reach forward and touch the boy, but ended up with his hands over his mouth, sobbing. You gently removed his sunglasses and ran a hand through his messy blond hair. "It's okay, Doffy. It's okay."
DoFlamingo nodded. "Yes, (Y/N), it most certainly is." He kissed you, still crying.
You offered him his child and he took the boy into his hands, holding the tiny body with the utmost care. "He's so small..."
You chuckled. "No, you're just a giant... So, what do you want to name him?"
What did he want to name him? DoFlamingo looked at his son, born with a head of thick blond hair. Of course he knew his son's name. "Rosinante."
"Rosinante? I've never heard that name before."
"It was my brother's name."
"You had a brother...?"
DoFlamingo didn't respond. Just looked down at his boy. "Rosinante Corazon Donquixote."
You giggled tiredly. "That's a very long, complicated name. I like it." You reached out and gently laid a hand on DoFlamingo's. "Thank you."
He blinked, confusion in his clear blue eyes. "For what?"
You smiled. "For saving me."
"Oh, love." DoFlamingo placed little Rosinante back in your arms and brushed your hair back from your face. "You're the one that saved me."
