I run home as fast as I did before wanting to curl up in my bed, forget about what I just did and not leave the house for the rest of my life. But I can't forget, every time I close my eyes, I see him and her, taking their last breathe as I sucked the life out of them. I killed two people then dragged their bodies and buried them. What if the police find out what I did? What will happen to me?
When I get to the front of my house, I see a note on the front door.
'Vampire or a monster?' Sincerely, Vlad.
Vlad . The one who bit me. He's a vampire. I'm a vampire. I see a light on inside and I rush in. My mum is standing there, phone in hand. Crying.
"Bella! Where the hell have you been? I was just about to call the police!" My mum trembles. I run into her arms and hugged her tight.
"I went out for a walk. Couldn't get to sleep. I'm sorry I scared you mum." I reply. Trying to keep her calm.
"As long as you're alright. But I wish you told me you were going for a walk at 1:00 in the morning. What happened if the thing that did that to you, is still out there?" She said pointing to my neck. I look down at the note and quickly put it in my pocket.
"Mum, I'm fine." I say. I go straight up to my room where I find another note, on my desk.
'Better start watching your back Bella. You never know who might hurt you.'
It was in the same hand writing as the last note. It was from Vlad.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
It's been 3 years since I was turned into a vampire and I've learnt so much. The Volturi are like the head of vampires and we can't tell any human what we are. I kept getting notes from Vlad so I decided to leave to keep my mother safe. I met other vampires who protected me. I haven't gotten a note from Vlad for 3 years. I decide to settle down in a place that Vlad will never find me in. Forks. I can live with my dad.
