Capitolo Dieci

I was wrong. I thought I can get myself a gown at the end of the week but I was wrong. Mary and Lucia spent the weekend just to find me a perfect gown for tonight yet they still haven't found one. I sighed, with these clothes inside this wardrobe, I can find myself a gown in an instant but the two insisted that they will pick one because it is their job. I had no other choice but to agree

I am sitting on my bed wtih my robe on, already three o'clock in the afternoon and still waiting for them to come out of my wardrobe

They've been there after eating breakfast and never left. I am a little bit worried for them and also I only got 3 hours to prepare. However, those worries were removed as soon as I heard the door opened from my wardrobe

"Chiedo scusa Princesse"[I appologize] Lucia stated while holding jewelries

"Please remove your robe Princesse. We finally found the perfect style for tonight" Mary said happily while holding a simple white gown and a pair of heels

I did what I was told and let them put on everything on me. They let me sit in front of the vanity table and put on another layer of make up. Just to put on some colors, they braided my hair and put some pieces of jewelry before slipping my feet inside a 4 inch white heels

"Mamma Mia! Bellissimo!" [Oh my mother! Beautiful!]  Lucia exclaimed in delight after I rose from my seat

"Perfetto"[Perfect]  Mary said with a smile on her face

I chuckled at her expression and took a glance at my full body mirror. I smiled, they really did a good job. Not glamorous for I will be performing but it is still elegant

"Grazie mille Mary, Lucia" [ Thank you very much] I said genuinely

"You are very welcome Princesse! It is also our job to style you the best in every event!" Lucia said and Mary nodded too. I gave them a small nod and I took a glimpse on my wall clock. It is a few minutes away from six so we decided to go down the stairs and wait for Smith

It was not that long of a wait when the doorbell rang. Mike opened the gate with the controller and of course the main entrance. 

Smith walked inside like a 'greek god' he was supposed to be with his black tuxedo and styled hair. 

"Good evening" he greeted us at once and placed his eyes on me. It was a long gaze as if he is scrutinizing my whole appearance and gave me a nod like it was approved

"This is Zeid Andrew Smith. Smith, these are my other siblings, Mike and Lucia" I said and they give time to handshake and greeted each other. They also greeted him a happy birthday

Mike approached me and gave me my white violin case, " Buon divertimento" [ Have fun] he said

" Lo farò " [ I will ] I responded

"Buona fortuna!"[Goodluck] Lucia said and I gave her a nod

"Andrew, please take care of her for me again okay?" Mary told Andrew and Andrew replied, "Of course Mary, I will" before escorting me out of our mansion and leading me to the passenger seat of his car. He settled in the driver's seat before started driving

"Are we late?" I asked

"No, not yet. The party will start at 7 but our house is half an hour away from here" he answered and I replied, "Oh, okay"

After that there was silence in the car. No one bothered to speak so I looked out of the window and enjoyed the view. 

"You look gorgeous by the way" Smith broke the silence with a compliment

I chuckled, "Thank you, as you do" 

"Thanks" he replied as he turned on the radio to decrease the awkwardness filling in the air

"How much longer do we have to drive if I may ask?" I said

"Just another minute" he said and he was right. I can see a large gate with guards on a uniform outside and lights beaming inside

He is living in an estate, away from the city. It was beautiful, glamorous and breath taking. 

"Your estate looks wonderful Smith" I blurted out

I saw him smirked, "Thank you very much" before getting out of his car to open the door at my side

Inalalayan niya akong bumaba at sinabit niya ang kamay ko sa kanyang braso. I commend him for being a gentleman tonight. We paved our way to the entrance where four guards resides, two at each side. They greeted Smith with a bow and opened the door for us

As soon as we entered, all eyes rested on our direction. Tumingin kaming dalawa ni Smith sa isa't isa at parang nag communicate ang mata namin na ngumiti sa mga tao

"Don't get nervous Young" Smith whispered suddenly

I smiled, "Do not worry Smith. Only horses gets me nervous"
