Capitolo Trentacinque

"Captain! It's time to look around the university" my vice president told me as soon as he entered my office

I lifted my gaze to met his, "Is it that 'time' already?" I asked 

Kyle scratched the back of his neck before answering, "Yes Captain" he answered while nodding

I sighed and closed my laptop, "Alright then please call everyone and assemble outside"

He saluted and went out. Inayos ko naman ang mga papel dito bago ako tumayo at lumabas ng office ko. Pagkalabas ko ay nakita ko silang nakalinya at tahimik na naghihintay. I stand in front of them and did not waste any time, "It's the time of the year again. I assume that you have been reviewed regarding your work today?"

"Yes President" they answered in unison

I nodded approvingly, "Very well then. I will be waiting your reports tomorrow. Please go to your respective places" after I said those words, they left immediately except for Kyle because he will be accompanying me while roaming around the campus

Tiningnan ko muna si Kyle na may hawak hawak nang notebook at ballpen, "Let's go" I said and nag salute naman siya, "Aye aye captain!" at lumabas na kami

Today is the 20th day of the 12th month of the year and every year, we are hosting a university fair for a cause. We open up this university for everyone and each departments will prepare something for the fair for example, a cafe or a horror house. There would also be stands, band and rides outside the buildings and in addition, the money that will be accumulated will be donated to our partnered orphanage for the celebration of Christmas Eve

Me and Kyle will be checking the preparations outside the buildings alongside with the other student councils in each department. We will also check the sound system and decorations because the University fair will be in two days and we will have our vacation until the second day of January

The preparations for the grand ball has been postponed for a week already because of this event. However, it's fine since we already made 50% progress and we will continue it during the holidays until next year

"Captain! The stage is all set and all the sound equipment are working" Kyle said while running back to my place. We are currently in the field, monitoring

I nodded, "Let's proceed to the front gate" I started walking with Kyle by my side to the gates where a few seniors from the arts and Archi & Engi department are working with the design of the gate

I saw Rina, one of my block mates as soon as we got there. She is the one running this right now because I entrusted her with this job

"Rina!" I called out smiling and waving my hand kaya natigil siya sa ginagawa niya at ngumiti siya pabalik bago pumunta sa kinaroroonan namin

"Hi Amelia and Mr. Vice President!" bati niya samin

"How's the gate Rina?" I asked

She giggled, "Oh it's doing great! We will finish in time!"

I smiled, "That's a relief. Thank you for your hard work and please tell extend my thanks to the others. We must go now"

She smiled,"Sure no problem Amelia! Goodluck!" and waved us goodbye as we went around the stands, checking if everything's fine until we finished and went home. The next day, I met up with my council and they told me that everything is well prepared. I contacted the other departments to let them know about our reports and vise versa. The University dean is satisfied with everything that we set up
