After we exchanged those words, I heard him laughed softly that made my eyes widen but I covered it again with a smile. Well, that was a first
He lead me to one of the tables where his equestrian facility officers resided. I was welcomed with a hug from Rise, "Mie, you look stunning!" she said
I laughed a little, "Thank you young lady, you too"
"Ehem" I immediately turned my head to the person who said that. I greeted him with a hug
"Oh hi Hans, you look great" I complimented. Then, he gave me his 100-watt smile, "Thank you Amelia! Ikaw rin!" he replied
"Are you taking care of Rise?" I asked
His cheeks tinted red,"Siyempre naman Amelia! Babe ko yan"
"Hoy anong babe?!Umayos ka Hans" pagbabanta ni Rise
Napailing na lang ako sa kanila at umupo sa bakante na upuan
"Rise, Hans, umayos kayo. We're in a party" bigla namang sabi ng lalaking nasa opposite direction ko. He's wearing a black tuxedo with a midnight blue bow tie. His hair is styled in a messy way and he has this fiery blue eyes.
"Sorry" Rise and Hans said in unison before sitting beside me
"Nga pala Mie, that guy's name is Takeru St. James and he is President's secretary" she told me and so I just nodded
We are apparently only four at our table which is great I guess. I scanned around the estate and there isn't many people as I expected it to be
"Ma'am, would you like a drink?" a waiter suddenly approached me at our table. He is carrying a tray with a champagne flute and a champagne bottle
"Yes please" I said and he gave me a glass before asking others. Smith was nowhere to be found, probably waiting to be introduced
The lights went out of the sudden except for the two spotlights at the top of their grand staircase and below the staircase where a woman in a rose gold ball gown is standing
