Nina's P.O.V
2 hours after the boarding.
"We will reach Atlanta in approximately 10 minutes."
I start packing up my things and take my mirror out so I can apply a bit of makeup before landing.
The plane suddenly jerks forward and my foundation drops out of my hand.
"Great." I try to pick up what's left but I fail, miserably. I quickly kick it under the seat infront of me and look around, hoping no one saw.
"We are now landing in Atlanta. Please make sure your seat belts are tightly fastened."
During the ride, I had come up with a million different scenarios of how this day its going to go.
And nearly all of them have the concept of 'terrible' in them.
Reaching the airport.
As soon as we land, I put on my sunglasses and head to the luggage area, cautious of paparazzi. Every step I take, the more nervous I become, like the pit in my stomach is getting bigger and bigger, and it's not closing up.
After not so patiently waiting for my luggage, I see my familiar grey suitcase, grab it, and head towards the exit.
I look ahead and see a person talking to an officer, wearing an all too familiar leather jacket and a grey knitted beanie just covering some of the guy's brown golden hair. His black combat shoes are untied, and his phone is hanging out his back pocket.
Paul?
Paul's P.O.V (earlier that day)
After calling Nina, I quickly jump in the car and drive to airport. I feel my fingers twitching against the car wheel, my head is spinning and my foot involuntarily taps against the floor of the car.
The same words keep running through my head, you're not nervous Paul, it's just happening right? It has absolutely no connection to the fact that i'm surprising Nina at the airport.
That's what friends can do right? Surpise each other at the airport. No feelings attatched.
That's what I keep telling myself anyway.
I finally reach the airport. I quickly check my hair through the view finder, and look to see that its sticking up in all directions. I grab my beanie from the back of the car and head out towards terminal 5.
Should I have got flowers? Maybe that's too much. Chocolates? She loves Hersheys Kisses.
I quickly run to the store and pick up a packet of Hershey's and run back to where Nina's landing. I look around and most people seem to be sleeping, or reading a book.
30 minutes pass and Nina still hasn't arrived. I check my phone to check if i'm standing at the right terminal.
Yup, whats taking her so long?
Tiny beads of sweat start forming on my forehead so I take my beanie off and run my fingers through my hair.
I hope she'll be happy seeing me.
Looking around, I spot a fierce looking manager, I tentatively walk up to him and ask him when the passengers will be arriving
He looks me up and down before saying "Round about now."
I slowly turn around and that's when I see her. The moment time froze, and everything stood still. Her chestnut locks tucked behind her ear, and her unicorn shirt just barely covered by her long, loose black jacket.
"Nina."
A/N love you guys, bye 😂❤
