Recap:

Taking a huge breath, I walk out onto the plane ground and begin to climb up the steps to the plane, and it wasn't until I sat in my seat did I think,

is this a mistake?

Nina's P.O.V

"Please make sure your seatbelts are fastened tightly; the plane will be landing shortly."

I sigh as I look out the window, down at the city below me, dreading of what's to come. During the flight, a black hole had suddenly formed in my heart and gradually got bigger and bigger, my heart feeling emptier than the empty bottle of water in front of me. I shake my head, attempting to rid the thoughts from my mind, and start gathering my things and placing them in my carry-on.

I come across my eye mask, something Paul had gotten me as a goodbye present. I never knew how useful it would be until I had actually got on a 3-hour flight.

*flashback*

"Mmmm, this tastes amazing."

"Oh yeah?"

"Best thing ever."

"Better than my pancakes?"

"Let me think about that... while I finish this delicious scrumptious waffle from heaven."

"Let me try some."

"Hey, hands off!  I asked you if you wanted some when I first got it and you said, 'No, it's basically sugar piled on sugar'"

"Well, that was before I realized that having sugar with sugar isn't so bad."

"Oh yeah? Maybe you should start cutting down on the sugar babe. You're gaining a bit of weight." I tease as I stuff a heaped pile of waffle in my mouth, grinning widely at Paul.

"You know what, because you said that, I'm not putting out tonight," Paul says with a straight face, turning the other way.

My mouth opens slightly as I realize he's being serious. "Hey, I'm sorry. Hey, Paulll." I say, grabbing his arm to turn him towards me. "I'm sorry." I apologize as I pick up the fork with some waffle on it and hold out my hand to feed him. "See, I put all the good stuff on it! The strawberries, the melted chocolate, the chocolate buttons and the whipped cream!"

Paul leans forward, his mouth wide open, and as I put the fork in his mouth, I accidentally miss and end up getting whipped cream on the side of his face. I lean back as I watch Paul's facial expressions turn from shocked, to annoyed, to a smirk?

I burst out laughing at how ridiculous he looks, until he wipes the whipped cream off his face with his finger, and flicks it towards me, it landing on my coat.

"Paul! This is coat is very expensive." I say, mockingly.

He shrugs as he takes a bite of my waffle, "My face is probably more expensive."

"If I agree will you not- hey! You've finished the waffle." I groan as I pull the plate from him.

"I'll make it up to you, tonight." He says as he stands up and walks over to me, giving me a soft kiss on the forehead. "Now what do you say we get out of here?"

"You finished the waffle." I pretend to sulk as I turn my head away from him.

I feel Paul sitting beside me, his hand wrapped around my waist. Suddenly, I feel his hot breath on my skin, his lips barely touching my ear, "I'll make you a better waffle at home."
