I heard the clip-clop of horse’s hooves from outside my castle. Then I heard the rough voices of men talking amongst themselves. I distantly recognized the voice of Prince Hans, Anna's ‘fiance.’

I heard my large snow monster rising, and shouts from the men.

I paused on the stairway. Suddenly two grown men burst into my castle. I gasped, and began fleeing up the stairs.

"Up there!" They'd spotted me.

They came after me.

I burst into my room. They came in right after me, crossbows pointed toward my body.

"No, please-" I begged.

He shot the arrow.

I threw my arms around my head.

I waited for pain, for death, but there was nothing. I looked up, and realized ice had formed and just caught the arrow. The tip was an inch from my forehead.

"Get her!" One of them yelled.

"Stay away!" I yelled, shooting ice. They tried to leap out of the way.

"Fire, fire!" A guard yelled.

I formed more ice, but I was growing weaker.

"Get her!" I shot ice at him.

The guards were circling me, and I stood in the middle of the room.

One raised his bow. I instinctly shot ice at him.

Sharp points raised him and pinned him to the wall. A small, extra sharp one slowly made its way toward his exposed neck. The other oe raised his bow. I turned sharply, and blasted the crossbow out of his hands. He turned one way. I shot ice there. He turned the other way. More ice. He turned toward me. A large block slowly pushed him away from me...and headed toward the balcony. As he was squished between the door and the ice, he tried to push away the ice. I pushed harder, concentrating on only the ice. The doors broke and he fell onto the balcony. There was at least a hundred foot drop. The balcony railings had been smashed by a shard of the broken door. The ice continued pushing him.

Suddenly, Hans and about five or six more guards burst in. Hans took in the scene around him.

"Queen Elsa!" He yelled.

I tried to ignore him and kept pushing the ice.

"Don't be the monster they fear you are!" Hans had caught my attention. I turned towards him, and waver in what I was doing, then stopped.  I realized what he was saying, horrified, scared, and upset.

While I was looking at Hans, I saw a guard raise his bow out of the corner of my eye.

Hans saw too, and raced toward the guard. He yanked the crossbow up, where instead of hitting me, it hit the chandelier...which was right above me.

I gasped, then picked up my dress and ran. It smashed behind me.

As everything went dark, I thought I heard a ringing scream...like Elphaba....

All was black.
