(ZODIAC'S POV)

After the droid accident we, me, Ezra, Sabine, and Zeb, walked to the lounge area for breakfast. Once there I stood back and watched as they did their normal routine of getting food. After they had all sat down and began eating I grabbed one of the pre-made plates and at in a corner on the floor seeing the table was full.

"Hey Zodiac, you do know we have a bar right ?" Sabine asked me looking from Ezra to me and back. Ezra along with the others turned to look in my direction, but unlike the others the look in Ezra's eyes held memories that would rather not be brought back to mind.

"Its okay really I don't min-" I began before Ezra cut me off.

"Just sit at the bar". So gathering my food and getting up I went and sat at the mini bar which everyone's food was just previously sitting on. I had a feeling it was gonna be one of THOSE kind of days by the way things were going.

-------------After Breakfast -------------

"Okay Chop says we just landed at the base" Hera said walking into the common room where I was watching Sabine work on a mural .

"Zodiac" Hera called walking towards me "Commander Sato needs to meet you before we can give you free range of the place". I looked down at that statement thinking it was because of who my father was. Sensing my thoughts Hera continued speaking.

"Don't worry we do it for everyone not just you also" Hera said nodding her head towards the door "Your dads on the line". I Could tell she was still having some trouble getting used to thinking of Kallus as a dad especially my dad, but hey could you blame her. Pushing that thought out of my head I gave Hera a quick smile and made my way towards the cockpit.

"Dad" I said walked into the room seeing he was already projected and connected.

"Are you alright ? Hera just yelled at me saying both you had an attack and I should have told her you had the illness before hand" He said looking towards me and off the data pad he was probably going to send to me later in the day.

"A warning would have been good, but yeah I'm okay" I responded doing a three-sixty spin to prove my point.

"Alright smartass" He said with a playful eye roll.

"I know I'm smart and have a nice ass, how 'bout you" I shot back. Not responding and looking towards the door my dad quickly said

"Don't call me I'll call you" before disconnecting us. This is not the first time this has happened, but each time it happens I fear for my dads life. When this happens it means some one saw him talking to me. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is. If anyone finds out about me my dad would be marked a liar by the empire, I might be hunted down and now since were both rebels killed for betraying the empire. Please be okay, okay and alive I thought as I climbed down the ladder to meet Hera by the ramp which was down revealing a beautiful coral reef looking planet.

"You ready ?" asked Hera waiting for me.

"Wha, oh yeah I'm ready" I answered falling over my words and following her.

It was quite the walk to the command center. Not really distance wise, but sight wise. There were so man different races each with a different background all here for one cause I could hardly imagine how many stories were in this part of the base alone.

"Here we are" Hera said after an eyeful of a journey. "Let me just get us connected and..". A projection of a man that was far from young, but clearly not old popped up.

"Commander Sato" Hera greeted the man.

"Captain Syndulla" He said back.

"I wanted you to meet the reason we left for Lothal so quickly" Hera continued once the awkward introduction was over.
