Fire. I was surrounded by fire. People all around me burning alive while a few escaped heavy hearted wishing they could have done more. The flames faded and a ship appeared. My dad appeared. He was speaking to someone. No something. A devil. skin cold like the Genosis moon. Eyes red like the sand of Tattonie. I turned around and was back on the base. I saw Hera, well more like I saw the fear in her eyes. The fear wasn't for her life. It was for those she had lost. And fear to lose. The clouds turned green behind me and I turned to look up. No. My breath shook as the attack plan I gave name to was seconds away from being inflicted on us. Hellfire.
I shot up drenched in sweat and rubbed up and down my body. I suddenly stopped.
My chest burned.
I dizzily stood up and got dressed.

I walked out and was instantly hit with the sense of joy and victory. I felt sick. The burning in my chest intensified and my stomach filled with lava. I dragged myself to the command center. I saw Kanen and Ezra having a conversation. They looked happy. My chest burned brighter.
"Hey Zodiac". I turned around to see Hera. She looked worried. "You okay ?". I saw the scenes from earlier. The fire. The ship. The blue demon.
"Call off the mission" I said in barely a voice. Hera looked down at me confused. I started mumbling.
"Fire, an attack, a blue devil. Please Hera call off the mission". By the time I was done a had raised my voice to a border line yell. I looked up at Hera, ignoring all the other stares I was getting, and saw her even more confused face. She was about to ask about what I was talking about when a transmission came in. It was from my dad. His voice sounded so calm. He was Terrified.
"Thrawn Knows" He said before getting cut off.
The devil. What does he know? I looked toward Hera about to ask her about it, but quickly put things together on my own when I saw her directing orders throughout the base. I walked shakely toward the shuttle platform. Most piolets were still getting into their ships while others were already taking off. Where did the victory and joy go?
"Zodiac" A voice behind me called. I turned around and saw Ezra running toward me. I ran toward him as well and we met half-way. We were within arms reach when another wave of pain rushed through me. I fell forward into Ezra's arms.
"Ezra" I said losing breath. "What's happenin-"
"We need to go. Now" Ezra said sternly cutting me off. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't. I let Ezra lead ,half-drag, me through the base to get to his ship. once on I instantly got into the co-pliote's chair and waited for take off. The 'Ghost' took off first and we followed short after. We entered space and saw. A bloodbath. War in it's most purest state. I watched as every one man we shot down, ten of us were lost. And the enemy just kept coming. Unlike them our ships are being flown by people not shells of men programmed to do a job with no care if there life is lost. I wanted to vomit. Or maybe I wanted to cry. I'm not sure. The entire time the burning in my chest became more and more unbareable the deeper into combat we got. The tears started flowing a few seconds later. Ezra kept blasting for an opening, but they just kept coming.
"Ezra" I gasped out finally letting go of conscioness as one of our ships collided with a star destroyer.
