Chapter 3: realization

Once bubbles, buttercup, and blossom defeated mojo and his monkey army, mojo surrendered. "I'll be back later, powerpuff girls and I will defeat you" he said with a black eye and some of his teeth were missing. "Yeah, go home monkeybutt" buttercup shouted from behind him, and stuck out her tongue as he ran away.

Later
"C'mon girls we should get home n-" blossom was cut off by bumping into someone and falling. That someone was standing above her, grinning evilly. That person was brick. "Ouch" blossom said rubbing her back. "Listen here, villain or not haven't you learned the word personal space" blossom said, shoving him out of the way. "No, personal space is for wimps, now get em boys!" Brick shouted and punched bubbles multiple times, swiftly until she hit the wall. Boomer went for buttercup and punched her as well. Butch kicked blossom until she hit the wall, and blossom got up and hit back. Punches and kicks were thrown back and forth between the boys and girls until, a loud stomp was heard behind them all. Mojo had come back with his monkey army, they now had weapons and they had armor. "Attack!" Mojo said, and sent the to attack the girls. "Great, now we have to fight more villains" buttercup said, annoyed. Blossom face palmed and bubbles groaned. The boys attacked the girls, and the monkeys attacked the girls at the same time. Finally, they reached a point where evil dominated. "Give it up girls, we win" mojo said. Blossom and the other girls had scrapes and dirt all over themselves. "This is too much to handle". Bubbles said. "We can't win this time" buttercup said. Blossom sighed in defeat. "This is the first time I've ever given up" she said. Mojo's monkeys held up axes and were about to attack the girls. Then suddenly the boys stood in front of them. "Woah woah woah!" Brick said, blocking mojo from blossom. "you don't have to kill them" he said. "They may not be on our side but they don't deserve to die!" boomer said, shouting. "What did they do, they were just fighting for their town" Butch said. All of the girls mouths dropped. The boys picked them up and took them to a clear alley. "Stay here, girls you'll be safe" brick said, putting blossom down. Blossom was still shocked. "Why did you-" blossom started "I'm kinda busy saving your powerpuff butt here, you can thank me later bloss" he says smiling warmly, Blossom blushes. Butch winks at buttercup and boomer waves at bubbles, making her giggle. "So... freaking...cute" all the girls said, smiling to themselves. "Hey big heads, Over here!" Butch said, balling up his fists. "You'll never defeat my army" mojo said. "Oh yeah, well bring it on" brick said. All the monkeys charged at the boys. Brick uppercut a monkey and slammed it's head into the sidewalk then used his heat vision to attack five at a time. Boomer took the monkey's hammer from him and hit it in the stomach, blasting it away. The monkey's ran for Butch, he smirked, and in a flash of two seconds they were on the ground. It was so fast, you couldnt even see what happens. "Give up mojo! It's over!" Boomer said, sticking his tounge out. "Curses! Why are you boys even on their side your evil!" Mojo said. "Actually were on noones side, we do what we want and they didn't deserve to die you idiot!" Brick said. "You're done for, now go home!" Butch said, blasting him away. "whew that felt good" Butch said, stretching his arms. Boomer walked over to bubbles. Brick walked over to blossom. Butch walked over to buttercup. "You girls okay?" Brick asked. They all just stood there shocked. "Why did you save us? We were literally just fighting you" Bubbles said, throwing her hands up, dramatically. "Bubbles, cut it with the dramatics." Blossom said. "why did you save us?!!!!!! we could've defended ourselves you weak lame dumb turkeyheads!!" blossom shouted. Buttercup slapped her hand over blossom's mouth "you say bubbles is dramatic" she says, rolling her eyes. "They were going to kill you and that wasn't fair" boomer said. "I don't think you deserve to be killed for defending your city" butch said. "No matter how lame your dumb city is, you don't deserve to die and we don't want to be tied down to sides anymore" brick said. "I think there is more to it" blossom smirked. "Oh no..." Brick knew what she was going to say. "You guys are in l-" buttercup covered her mouth. "You guys are in luck, hehe. That's what she meant....you're in luck because being neutral is better than attacking a town and because you can live with us" bubbles said. "What?!" buttercup and blossom yelled. "Proffessor won't mind" bubbles winked. The girls mouthed 'oh' to each other. " yeah, you can totally live with us" buttercup said. "But promise to be good" blossom said. "Okay okay, fine" brick said. All three girls yipped in excitement, mentally. On the outside they just said "okay cool". This was going to be one crazy experience.....
