Chapter 15: The end of chaos

"You idiot, you shouldn't have pressed my buttons!" Butch said, throwing punches at brick. "What are you? A keyboard?" Brick responded, fighting back with no hesitation or resistance.

"Hey! You boys calm down.." The professor said, as he grabbed them up by their backs. "Professor?" They said, looking him in the eyes, almost scared.

"Yes. Now, stop fighting and tell me what's going on." The professor said, with a calm tone. The two boys nod.

"Well, blossom was-"

"Buttercup tried-"

"I almost got-"

"They all got turned into cats and now they're acting weird!" They shouted at the same time, making the professor nod in understanding. "I think I know what's going on here.." He said, putting a hand on his chin, contemplating.

"The girls have the ability to shift into anything being that chemical x is a shapable concoction and since they have cat-like tendencies...they are all turning into cats." The professor concluded. The boys only blinked twice, stupidly, before saying 'okay'.

Professor laughed a bit at the two.

"You boys really are something else. I'll just whip up another serum and they'll be back in no time." He said, at ease.

"But how are we going to give them the serum?" Asked brick and butch.

"Hey, I asked that first!" Shouted brick.

"No, I did!" Butch said.

"If you two want to give them the serum, you'll have to work together." Professor said, rolling his eyes.

"Work with him...ew!" Brick said.

"Look, do you want to help them or not?" Butch said, crossing his arms.

"Well, I do b-" Brick started to say.

"And done!" Professor finished the serum rather quickly.

"What? How?" The two boys asked.

"I finished it while you two were talking. Now listen...If you want to give this to the girls, you can't just give it to them right off the back. You'll have to catch them off guard." Professor said.

"Off guard?" They asked.

"Mhm, that's why I put the antidote in this flu shot holders." He said.

"Right, then..let's hurry...we don't want them like this too much longer." Brick said, as they both grab the antidote.

In the darkness of the hallway, there is an unending tunnel of giggles. Two girls, who are now awaiting their prey, like tigers, anxiously prowling around.

Sneaking up behind them, the two boys followed, but their senses were strong. The girls whipped around, catching the boys, and pushing them into the wall.

"H-hey! Let go!" Brick shouted. Blossom's eyes glowed light pink, as she smirked, deciding not to obey.

"Why should I? I've got you now and you're not getting away..." Blossom said, wickedly laughing. "Soon enough you'll be-" She started, before brick put the antidote into her flesh. "Nope!" He said, smirking, as she fell faint in his arms. "Not today!" He tilted his hat.

Butch gave buttercup the antidote just before she could reattach her lips to his. They both high fived in victory.

"Welp, we should probably get them back to their rooms.." Brick said, as he carried blossom in his arms. Butch nodded in agreement and walked.

"Wait! What about bubbles?" Butch asked, making a concerned face.

"This shouldn't be hard.." said brick, taking another antidote vaccination and walking over to Boomer's room.

"Hey, Boomer!" Brick yelled, making Bubbles and Boomer jolt in their sleep.

"Hm?" Boomer said, sleepily..

"Give this to bubbles.." Brick said, lying the antidote on the bed next to them.

"Okay.." Boomer muttered, grabbing it, examining it, and giving it to her.

Bubbles shivered at the feeling of it penetrating her arm, but she continued to sleep as her cat form disappeared.

"Easy.." Brick shrugged.

"You don't even have to try with these two..It's pretty cool, I guess." Butch said. "Nah, I think they were just naturally meant to be.." Brick said.

"Yeah, yeah whatever..." Butch pretended to barf and they walked out.
