I thought maybe it would be forever before RoseMary and Cedric finally got home. But they did, and Rose refused to tell me anything about it. I was curious, and I had a weird feeling this wasn't an ordinary camping trip, and I was going to find out, no matter how long it took. The curiosity was eating at me, and I just couldn't shake it off.
I was in the living room, watching a football game (of which i didn't understand at all, by the way) with Kyle. I was feeling... content, I guess. That is, until this horrible burning rose up into my chest.
At first I thought it was some kind of heart burn, but it diminished. At soon as it had gone, it rose again, but much higher. I clutched my chest and breathed heavily. I began to sweat. It died again, and rose even higher. I felt like I was about to explode. A horrible tooth aching attacked my entire mouth, as well as my legs and arms. The burning rose up again, making me groan in agony. Kyle looked over at me.
"Jasp-"
He wasn't even able to get my whole name out before I screamed shrilly for Christopher. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong.
I herd my spine crack, and it cracked loud. I was doubling over in agony as I realized my spine had broken into two separate pieces. Then those broke in two. I couldn't even scream at this, it was too much.
"She's changing... ERA! CHRIS!" I barely heard Kyle yell.
By now I was on the ground, clutching my stomach, curled into a tight ball. I was sweating buckets and screaming so loud that I lost my voice. But not before I was able to scream for Christopher again.
"Oh..." I herd Christopher whisper from the doorway. I was now choking on the blood that came up my wind pipe. It was drizzling out of my mouth, my nose, my ears... I felt the thick liquid dripping out of everywhere possible. My mind was not working right, something was invading it, something I couldn't overcome. I had no strength right now. And before I could do anything about it, I growled. It even scared me. It was so deep and so like an animals'. Like a real wolves'.
"GET THE BLOOD!" I herd Era yell. I growled again, my body going limp. I forced it to go limp. It took some of the pain away. I suddenly felt a needle being thrust into my arm. Blood, that's all they're doing, taking blood... just relax, Jasper. I herd Christopher's voice whisper in my head. That just freaked me out even more. I didn't have time to think about it because another blast of pain shot through my body. I screamed and arched my back, realizing i was on a bed. Or a couch, just something soft. I realized my eyes had been closed, and I opened them to see Christopher's face. It was tear streaked, and I felt he was holding my arms down. I looked at him with pain-filled eyes. I didn't even understand half of what was going on. His lips never moved, but I herd his voice in loud echoes. I love you...
Before another pain-wave washed over me and I passed out.

I woke up to the feel of someone stroking my hand. I squeezed my eyes tighter shut to try to blot out the strong light on my face. I groaned at the realization of all my muscles being cramped together so tight after not moving for so many days.
"Jasper?" I herd Christopher's voice. Everything came back to me then.
I was a werewolf. A real live werewolf.
And Chris's voice sounded different. I could hear every different octave to make up the one word he was saying. I could hear the knotted, strained rumbling of his throat. It was so clear I could almost see his tear streaked face. His worried, pain-filled expression. I could almost hear him thinking, Is she okay? Is she okay? Is she okay?
