Reio and Rhint woke up pissed off at each other. The servants and various Fae folk had avoiding setting off the bomb as best they could, but everyone had a feeling that today's argument was going to be a bad one. The leaders fought all the time, but the fights usually didn't last very long and they were usually friendly again before the end of the day. Around noon however, things took a turn for the worse.

"So are you going to not talk to me at all today?" Reio asked, a not so subtle tone of aggravation in her voice.

Rhint sighed before standing. "Hadn't planned to. But as usual you need to voice your insufferable opinions."

Reio chased after him, cutting off his escape. She propped her fists on her hips and glared up at her husband. The top of her head barely reached his collarbone, but she could freeze him in place with one of her fierce gazes. "Insufferable? How would you know? You tune out anything I say!"

Rhint glared down at her before moving around her. She was quick to get in his path again. She wasn't going to let him get away this time. She was fed up with his attitude lately. He would just brush her off and do god knows what with his friends, leaving her alone most of the day. She was lonely and pissed off. She was going to knock some sense into him no matter what.

"I don't have time for one of your tantrums today." Rhint growled, gripping Reio's shoulders. He wasn't hurting her, but the action didn't help either. "I have work I should be doing."

Reio scoffed and knocked Rhint's hands away. "You never have time for me anymore! You'd rather be off with Ice playing general than home with me."

Rhint didn't respond, just walked around her and exited the room. Reio wanted to scream at him, punch him till she felt better. She took a deep breath before following him. She wasn't going to lose this argument.

"Stop running away you coward!" She shouted after him, trying her best to match his long strides. She was at a slight disadvantage due to her height and long dress. She paused a moment to gather her skirts up in order to move faster.

"Why don't you ever try to talk this out with me?" Reio pressed after catching up with him. She could see the servants and guards darting into rooms and changing routes. They knew better than to get involved in one of their fights. "I'm sick of having a one sided argument with you. If you would take the time to actually talk to me I'd probably not bitch so much!"

Rhint's next move was so fast it made Reio's head spin. There was a dark anger burning behind his amber eyes, and it scared her. He backed her against the wall, slamming his free hand against the space next to her head making her flinch.

His voice was low and rough. "Alright woman, you got my attention. What do you want?"

Reio's anger was quickly replaced with sorrow. She bit her lower lip, trying desperately to hold back her tears. "I miss you Rhint. You never do anything with me or to me anymore. It's driving me crazy!"

His eyes softened a little. "Reio, I'm sorry. I've just been so busy with king stuff I don't remember to pay attention to anything else."

Reio huffed. "You don't seem like you want to pay attention to anything else. You spend almost every moment you're awake at the training ground and by the time you come home you're too exhausted to even speak to me. I'm sick of it Rhint."

Rhint grumbled under his breath before backing off, running a hand through his hair. "Dammit Reio I can't just shirk my responsibilities just to hang out with you all day."

"But you could at least make an effort to spend time with me! I've tried being understanding and patient but I'm done!"

Reio started to storm off but it was his turn to try and stop her. Reio balled up her fist and pumped some magic into it before swinging and slamming her fist into Rhint's chest. The impact of her hit sent him reeling back into the adjacent wall, spider web cracks spreading out around him.
