I gave a very shaky laugh and half threw myself onto him. "Alex! You're awake!" I started sobbing out of joy, I wasn't going to lose him!

"Sky, please don't cry, I'm right here." She saved me, she really was my hero. "Alex, you're really still here" "I'm so sorry Sky I'm so so so sorry" I felt her fingers brush past the sore spot on my neck, no doubt that it'd be a scar. "Alex why didn't you let me know it was getting this bad?" "Sky, she called me worthless, said that no one would love me." Tears were forming in my eyes, the tough guy in me holding them back. "But I love you. I always have, ever since that first day." "Sky, you don't love me like I love you. You can't I'm too broken and you're so perfect." I suddenly felt her small cold hands on my cheeks, forcing me to look at her. "Alex. I love you just like you love me! I swear you aren't broken, you are just perfect" Next thing I knew I felt her soft lips on mine, making the heart monitor go crazy, right before she pulled back. "Um, I'll go get the nurse." "Yeah okay." As she walked out of the room I dreaded what I knew came next, I had to push her away, far away from me.
