The Dream

!Note!: I am not stealing anything from the Rpg game Blank Dream. I was simply inspired by it, so I made my own game type story. I give all rightful credit to the creators for giving me this wonderful idea. I hope you enjoy the song, and the story as it unfolds. :)

...

All my life, I had always wondered how different everything would have turned out if I had never even existed.

It wasn't as if I hated my life or anything.

Mere curiosity was greater than the mind at times.

It had never stopped me from questioning, however.

What would all of my friends do?

Would my parents live a happier life maybe?

Just thinking of such a dream becoming a reality made me feel...somewhat excited.

Perhaps if I just dropped off of the face of the earth...

I wonder if anyone would even notice?

...

A clock ticked quietly in the small room.

The girl opened her eyes to a dull ceiling lined with decorative Christmas lights.

Slowly sitting up, she realized that she was in her room.

How she had gotten there was beyond her.

"Ah, that dream again huh?" She questioned monotonously.

The girl swung her legs off of her bed, coming to stand in front of her vanity.

Lipstick and eyeshadow were nowhere to be seen.

Perhaps it was because she found such things unnecessary.

Thinking back on the dream that she had awoken from, the girl felt a sense of disappointment.

"I always wake up before I get to see what happens at the end."

A weary expression took place on her pale features.

She decided not to dwell on the matter.

For she knew that she would have this dream again.

....

For she dreamt it every single night.

....

Walking to her dresser, the girl opened a white painted drawer.

Inside were many shirts, all raging from different shades of pink.

The girl walked to her computer desk.

"I have a test to study for but..."

There is nothing else on the desk.

...?

Looking closer, there is a small diary stuffed behind a book.

Take the diary?

Yes-

No

Got a diary.

"Ah, this is a diary that me and my best friend shared in middle school."

"I don't really remember much of that day to be honest, but I remember what I had said to her."

"What do you think would happen if I died?"
