"Have you ever just wanted one of those stereo typical relationships where the couples go for strolls and have picnics on beach?" David randomly asked. We were strolling along the beach just getting to know each other.

"No," a laugh escaped my lips as I shook my head.

"Why?"

"Because. I don't want to be a stereo type. I'm myself. Why would I want to be like others? I'd rather do something spontaneous. Like..skydiving or going to a chocolate festival or service the community. Ya know?"

He stopped walking.

"Gosh..you're so different from Stephanie.."

"Well..sorry about it," I kept walking.

"I'm not done!" he yelled out.

I stopped.

"Look at the sunset," he told me.

So I did. I've seen sunsets before..but never like this. The sky was painted red and orange and the sun was red too. It reflected upon the ocean and diamonds were floating everywhere.

"Her eyes never twinkled like that," he had made his way toward me and whispered in my ear. His smooth hand caressed my shoulder. His warm breath tickled my ear sending chills down my spine. There's no way this is real life..no way.

"Why is that?" I whispered as the sun settled down. The wind picked up a tad, sending my blonde hair to fly backwards.

"I think it's because..you're genuine.." he whispered again.

"Kiss me," I try.

He turned me to him. He slid his arms around my waist, smiling. I looked up at him, waiting.

"No. You're not ready and neither am I," he claimed.

"Good!" I relieved. I wasn't trying to get him to kiss me..I was trying to see him. His response. How he felt about...me.
