(the pic above is the midnight forest Hitomi goes to when she talks to Rico.)
i had a day off today a went for a walk around the village. what was i going to do today? I should go and train. i was walking to a training ground when i bumped into royal shit. i looked at him and the images of what i saw yesterday came into my head. a piercing pain spread through my head and i clutched my head in pain. I fell to the ground cradling my head in both my hand. Images kept flying through my head and a small whimper escaped my mouth. tears came to my eyes as i mumbled pleads for the pain to stop. Soon the world around me vanished and i was surrounded by complete darkness.
the scene around be began to morph into a forest. i looked around completely confused to where i was. i heard a woman screaming and i ran towards the screaming as fast a i could. i made it to where the screaming was coming from to see the same woman that i saw yesterday giving birth. why was she giving birth in the middle of the forest? i watched as she began to pale. the baby was born however the woman could barley move and looked externally sick. i watched as she paled even more and the life in her eyes began to fade. i ran up to them and tried to shake the woman but couldn't touch her and the woman was close to death. i went to the baby to see it wasn't moving, the woman struggled to pick up the baby but did it. she looked at her child and tears filled her eyes that where losing their life by the second. she clutched the baby in her arms. tears filled my eyes as i figured out why the baby wasn't moving, it was dead. the woman began to plead with all the strength she had left. a green light appeared and a the shape of a creature began to form but everything went black before i saw anything else.
i leaped up hyperventilating and sweating. i looked around to see i was in the hospital I looked to the chair beside my bed to see Mamoru watching me. I looked at him in the eyes still struggling to breath. Mamoru had concern in his eyes and he stood up and stood in front of me put his hand on my shoulder.
"hey calm down, take deep breaths everything is fine." he said calmly.
i struggled to take deep breaths so Mamoru lead me through it taking deep breaths with me. after awhile i was breathing normally. he grabbed me some water and handed it to me. i took it and took small sips as nausea rushed through me. i put the water down and shivered. Mamoru came up and placed his on my shoulder and peered at my face.
"how are you feeling?" he asked concern evident in his voice.
"s-sick." i said weakly.
he put his hand to my back and rubbed it. he guided me to lay back down. my eyes grew heavy and the last thing i saw before fell asleep was Mamoru's face.
i was in the midnight forest again and ran through it to find the lake where Rico usually was. I made it to the lake but tripped only to fall on Rico's soft fur. i looked up at him i was met with his kind green eyes. tears filled my eyes and i rapped my arms around his neck. the stupid dream had a really fucking big affect on me and i don't know why.
"I've gotta tell you something Hitomi." Rico said calmly.
i nodded and continued to hug him while listing to him.
"those things you've been seeing are vision, they can be from the past, present or future." he said.
i looked up at him confused. I've been seeing what now?
"the last to you saw have been from the past." he said.
"what are they about, are you're still holding something back." i said to him.
"you will know all of that in due time." Rico said.
"jerk." i mumbled.
Rico knocked me to the ground and ponced around playfully. I giggled and tackle him. we ran around the forest goofing around for awhile.
