The game has ended, and AppleJack lined up with the other players, so the mayor could vote who did best during the competition/game. Rainbow dash hoped for AppleJack, of course.
Oh my gosh, will she win??? She has to win, she has to... She worked so hard this whole game. She deserves it. I love her, she needs to win.
The mayor stared at all the players, her eyes hopping to one competitor, and then another. Till she locked her eyes on... AppleJack. "AppleJack," she began.. "you have worked very hard during this game." Everypony's heart beated in their chest's. Except for rainbow dash, her heart was hammering in her chest real hard. "APPLEJACK! YOU WIN!" The mayor finished.
He crowed went wild, including rainbow. She cheered the loudest. So loud, that AppleJack seemed to have heard her and glanced over to look into the crowd, and saw rainbow dash jumping up and down with glee. She froze, since she thought it was awkward seeing her, after they had kissed. AppleJack just waved at everyone, and thanked the mayor.
"Everypony, you can proceed to your homes for a moment. We have a surprise for AppleJack!" Everyone hopped out of their seats, and went home. Rainbow dash on the other hand, she went back to applejack's barn, to congratulate her.
After waiting a few moments, AppleJack went into her barn again, her whole family saying how wonderful she was during the game. She then later went into her room, where RainbowDash has been waiting for some time.
"APPLEJACK! Congratulations, I--" AJ stopped her from talking and told her, "R-RAINBOW, I think you should be taking a flight right now. I. . . Gotta get ready for that surprise that the mayor said I have!" Rainbow felt hurt inside. She felt as if applejack was avoiding her, or that she didn't want to be friends, when in reality, she was only trying to keep her away to keep AppleJack from embarrassing herself again.
Later. . .
"Welcome back, everypony! I am ready to announce applejack's new surprise." The mayor announced, getting everypony's attention. Applejack walked up next to the mayor, waving at everypony, as they cheered at her.
"So AppleJack, since you WON, you get to go to AppleTravia, where all strong, and great apple buckers belong! It's far away (and I mean far), and you have been chosen to go there!" RainbowDash's jaw dropped after she said that, while everyone else was screaming and hauling at her.
Rainbow dash was upset she was going far away, and she didn't even want her to ever leave her life in the first place. She sadly walked away, her head swaying down low.
AppleJack noticed her behind the crowed, walking away, and her slight smile turned into a slight frown.
"RainbowDash?" She said, as Rd kept walking away.
