We (Sean, Mark, and I) sat at a round table at the Lucky Fry. It was some restaurant in Boston that we all never had heard about, but we wanted to test it out anyways. Sean sat by Mark, and carried on a conversation with him. While I, just looked at my phone until the waiter came to take our order for drinks. Sean and Mark didn't even notice that she was standing there. "Hello. I'm Brianna. And I'll be your waiter for tonight. Shall we start with drinks?" She asked. I nodded, "I'll have a Coke." She quickly scribbled on her note pad and turned to Sean, "And you two?" He didn't reply, he didn't even turn to look at her. "They'll have a Coke as well." I sighed. She wrote on her notepad again. I covered my face with embarrassment. She rested her hand on my shoulder, "It's okay. They'll talk to you soon." And she giggled a little.
I tried to talk to them, well at least Sean. But he ignored me in anyway possible. Mark looked at me, and tried to talk to me, but Sean would always say something that would catch his attention. The drinks came, I thanked her. "Are we ready to order?" She asked. "I'll have. Umm... I'll have the Chicken Caesar Salad please." I smiled. She wrote it down on her notepad and turned to Sean with a frown, "And you?" "I'll have the pineapple and ham pizza please." He answered. She wrote it down and turned to Mark, "You?" "I'll have a pepperoni pizza. Like a normal human being." He looked at Sean and smirked. She wrote it down and walked back into the kitchen. I stood up, "I'm going to the restroom. Not like you care." And ran into the bathroom.
.:Mark's POV:.
I cut Sean off from his current story he was telling me, "Why are you acting like this? You invited (Y/N) to come. And your not even talking to her. What's wrong?" He sighed, "Nervous. You know I like her. And I was going to ask her out early today. But I don't know if she actually likes me." "Ha. Don't worry. She does. When she moved, and we finally met. She couldn't stop talking about you, and how she regretted to move away from you. She really looks up to you." I playfully punched his shoulder. He sat up straight, "All right. I'll do it. Thanks Mark."
.:(Y/N)'s POV:.
I sat back down at the table, not expecting a conversation, but I got one. "Hey (Y/N). Sorry for not talking to you." Sean rubbed the back of his neck. I looked to the left, Mark was gone. "Where did Mark go?" I asked. "Oh. Bathroom. Anyways. I need to ask you something." He smiled. My heart fluttered, "W-What is it?" He leaned in, "Do you like MarioKart 8?" I sighed, then laughed, "Of course." "Good. 'Cause we're going to play it when we go home tomorrow. "Cool." I looked down at the ground. "What's wrong?" He asked. I didn't reply, I was trying to fight back tears. "(Y/N)? Lo-" He was cut off by Mark sitting back down with us and the food coming.
We finished our food, paid, then sat outside for a little. There was a nice bench we could all sit on, watching the sunset, Mark stood up, "I better get back to the hotel. You guys should to. Big airplane ride tomorrow." He stretched, got into his car, and headed for the hotel. Sean and I sat in silence. I moved the hair out of my face and avoided eye contact, "How's the channel?" "Good. You?" He replied. "Good. Would you rather me call you Jack or Sean. You never told me which one you prefer." I asked. "Doesn't matter to me." The wind blew through his brown hair. "Do you still date that Madison girl?" I choked. "No. I dumped her after you left. Do you still remember that day?" He asked.
.:Flashback:.
Sean and I had met up in the library. He played with his fingers, and kept looking at the ground. "What's wrong?" I laughed. He stuttered, "I need to ask you something." My eyes widened, "What?" "Will yo-" He was cut off by the intercom, "We need (Y/N) (L/N) to go home please." I quickly grabbed my stuff, "You can tell me tomorrow." He nodded. I didn't get to see him ever again. I didn't know I was moving on that day.
.:Present:.
Sean looked at me as I returned to reality. "You didn't tell me you were moving." He looked at the ground. "Because I didn't know." I sniffed. He quickly looked back at me, "Hey. Don't cry." "You always dated other girls. And I was so scared to tell you how I felt. Then I moved away, and everyday. My feelings grew stronger. And they wouldn't go away." I wiped the tears off my cheeks, still not making eye contact. He was silent now. I calmed down. He lifted my chin up and tapped my nose, "I want to see your smile. Come on. Please smile for me." I giggled, which made me smile. "There. That's better." He smiled. I looked out to the sunset, when something touched my hand. I looked over, Sean was holding my hand, looking out at the sunset. I scooted closer to him. "(Y/N). I have always loved you. Ever since we met." He smiled at me. I smiled back, "And I always loved you to." He put his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer, kissing my cheek. I blushed deeply.
"Come on princess. Let's head to the hotel, get us some tickets, and go to bed." He smiled.
