"And there we go." Gray finished knotting the rope, tying you against one of the columns.

"All this time... You were the one we've been searching for?" You watched the cold eyes of the guild beat down your confidence.

Where's Natsu..? Your eyes frantically looked from one place to another, in hopes of finding Natsu but he was nowhere to be seen.

"I can't believe it..." Lucy looked at you with eyes of regret and guilt, "He's the one..?"

"From what the old man said, yeah." You watched as your former guild members whispered to one another.

What is this..? What happened to the cheerful and carefree people? You thought that if the others found out, they'd at least be more forgiving but in this case, they were nowhere anywhere near.

"Talk. Now." Erza approached you, grabbing you by the neck, "WHERE'S NATSU?!!"

You couldn't say anything because you didn't know what they were talking about.

"Still won't talk?" The scarlet haired woman released her grip and took out a gigantic sword and held dangerously close to your neck, "I'll ask you again."

"What the hell are you people talking about?" You stared at them coldly.

Is this their true nature? If it is, then the stuff about family and friends were all.. lies? You smirked. Then I don't want it. Take it back, take it all back.

"HOW COULD YOU SMILE AT A TIME LILKE THIS?!!" Erza grew extremely agitated and kicked your head against the column, causing few cracks to form, "DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!!!"

"No, what did I do?" This was all new. You had no clue to what they were talking about.

"HOW CAN YOU FORGET SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!!!" You saw Jet yell angrily, only to be held back by Levy.

"Here... Let me refresh your memory." You watched as the ice mage took a step closer only to punch you repeatedly, "YOU. NEARLY. KILLED. NATSU!!!" The armored woman pulled the ice mage back. The words shocked you.

I did... what?

Drips of blood fell from your nose and the taste of metal began to fill your mouth.

"Tell me please..." Lucy's voice trembled, "Was he just toying with us and how we felt..?" She was on the brink of tears.

"I've seen some screwed up shit, but this." Gajeel looked down at you, "Stabbing someone in the back, especially when that person trusts you... It's just-"

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!!" The guild master looked at everyone as they shifted their gaze immediately, "Where is (Y/n)?"

"Right here.." Wendy gave a pained look at you.

The guild master walked to you, "Everyone. Leave us."

And with that, everyone left the guild hall.

"Do you realize what you've done?" He asked quietly.

"I don't remember anything..." You replied in a monotone.

"How can you not remember what you've done?" The guild master looked angry, "Are you truly heartless?"

"Well, it's not like I know what went down..." You felt worried, anxious and scared. Not because of what the others might do to you but because you didn't know how Natsu was doing. The fact that they claimed you hurt him made you feel even worse, "What.. happened..?"

"You truly don't remember?"

"No... All I remember is Gajeel knocking me out..."

The guild master remained silent, "Fine. I'll remind you."

He sat down, "After Natsu carried you, Gajeel and Lucy said that you kicked him on the back."

"I kicked him?"

"Yes. Then for some reason, you had a knife and tried to attack them."

"I tried to... attack?"

"Lucy says that Natsu stood in front of you and tried to reason with you."

"And then..?"

"You stood still, dropped the knife and sobbed. Natsu tried to comfort you."

"Natsu tried to comfort me....?"

"Let me finish." The guild master cleared his throat, "But then..."

He paused.

"But then what?"

"You had another knife and tried to stab him. Gajeel tried to stop you but only managed to get that weapon from you, where you proceeded to choke Natsu."

"I... tried to kill him? That can't be... I would never."

"Drop the innocent act." The guild master stood up, "We already know your true colors." Then he walked away, "You should consider yourself lucky because that boy is actually fine. If he weren't..."

"No wait... I really don't remember doing anything like that!" You struggled to get free, "I really don't!!"

"Stop telling lies... It hurts even more..." Was all he said before closing the door of the guild behind.

Someone tell me it's not true... I would never hurt Natsu...

"I would never.." You trembled, "I could never..." Tears began falling.

Then the doors opened. It was Natsu and he checked his surroundings. When he saw you, he smiled and ran over to you and hugged you.

"(Y/n) I'm so glad I found you.." He said cheerfully.

Knowing that he came back even after you tried to choke him, made your heart ache even more.

"Why...?" You said in a low tone.

"Huh? Why what?" He looked curious.

"Why are you here..?" The tears wouldn't stop falling from your eyes, "Why are you still here even when I tried to kill you..?" You looked straight into his eyes, "Why don't you hate me like the rest?"

"Because I know it wasn't you." He smiled and began untying the ropes, "Your eyes. They were red, not (e/c). The way you smiled was nothing like the (Y/n) I know." He cupped your cheeks with both hands and wiped away the tears, "And I knew that you would never hurt any of us. So please..." He pulled you into another hug, "Please stay with me. And I'll do everything in my power to protect you."

"But-"

"But nothing. I want to stay with you and protect you because I love you."

Your eyes widened, "Love..?"

"If you feel alone, I'll be right next to you." He let go and smiled, "When you fall, I'll be there to catch you." Then leaned in and gave a quick kiss on your forehead, "If you try to run, I'll be the one who finds you."

"Natsu..."

"And if Fairy Tail turns against you, I'll be fighting with you." You both stood up, "No matter what, I'll be there for you."

Unable to stop the tears, you smiled, "Thank you so much..."
