Time skip to a month and a half later...

"It took a while..." You sighed in relief as you rested against a tree, "But it was well worth the wait." You looked up at the cloudless sky and gave a pained look. I'm coming back home Natsu... I hope you're okay...  You didn't pay much attention to your dirty and tattered clothes because the plan you had for your escape took more than several attempts before the finalized plan. And now. That you know his weaknesses, you could defeat him once and for all. But right now, you wanted to get back to your favorite person; Natsu Dragneel. With determination, you shot back on your feet and marched proudly. Whatever Vincent did to you when he knocked you out cold, it couldn't have been good so of course, you had to be wary of yourself and pay attention to anything that changes from physical to mental, basically anything that seems like a red flag.
"I am so lucky he didn't do any permanent damage to me..." You said to yourself as you headed down a familiar path.

---At Fairy Tail---

A certain salamander slammed his fists on the table, almost breaking it in half and he certainly wasn't happy at the moment.

"What do you mean 'Wait'?" His eyes darted at everyone, "One of Fairy Tail's member is out there in danger. And you guys, wanna 'wait'?"

"Natsu, I understand how you feel but-"

"What do you know? If I recall correctly." He said with sarcasm, "You treated him as badly as everyone else."

"N-Natsu... Please calm down..."  Wendy quivered, "Maybe because master has a plan.."

"And his plan is to wait longer? How long? It's been a month and a half and no one's done anything. "

"Natsu, if you took a minute to use your brain-"

"Oh, I am. And when I find him, I'm leaving the guild."

Those words he had said without any second thoughts, completely shocked and possibly even terrify some of his guild mates.
"C 'mon, you don't really mean it." Gajeel said as he crossed his arms in disbelief, "This place is practically your home. I bet it's impossible."

"Don't push it, iron bolts." The salamander said in a low monotone.

"Just calm down. I'm sure if we discussed this like a real man would then we'd-"

"Nearly two months and no one's done anything..."  Happy silently said, "I.. thought Fairy Tail cared about their members..."  Natsu looked at his blue companion and felt the same, "You guys said that all members are considered 'Family'... You guys were the ones who told me that 'No one gets left behind'... So what you guys are telling us-"

"-Were all lies." Natsu interrupted then turned his back to everyone and stormed out, followed by Happy.

Shortly after, Erza arrives and joins everyone else, "I've searched the caves and any abandoned homes, villages and cities but there was no sign of either of the individuals."

"I see... Where could Vincent have gone..?" The guild master began stroking his beard then snapped his fingers as if an idea had popped up, "Have you checked the tunnels beneath Magnolia's Cathedral?"

"Those tunnels? But I thought they were sealed off because of the instability down there." Erza replied.

"Wait... what's going here?" The ice mage was confused, as well as the ones nearby.

"Since we didn't know and didn't have anything to indicate Vincent's whereabouts, I've decided to search all of Fiore. So far, I've covered half of the country side." The scarlet haired woman sighed in disappointment, "But haven't found a trace..."

"Why didn't you tell us sooner?"

"Because you guys were too busy in worrying about your own things. So far, I think Natsu and Happy were the only ones who were actually doing some good."

"Well, why didn't you say anything to flame-brain?"

"He began his search before I headed out. Not to mention how stressed and exhausted he is. I didn't want to give him anymore things to do."

"But now, he's-"

"I'm leaving, I just thought that I'd come back to inform you, master." And with that,  Erza left.

--- With Natsu and Happy. ---

"Can you believe those jerks?" Happy stomped on the grass angrily, "They sat back and... and... DID NOTHING!!!"

Natsu rested his back against a tree and sighed. Grey bags were partially visible under his eyes and seemed slightly skinnier than usual, "I didn't think that they'd hate him this much... actually... I didn't think that they would hate him at all..."
Happy looked at his best friend as tears almost began to build up in the amber colored eyes. He headed to his friend and sat next to him, in hopes of comforting him.

"But it's okay... because... Because you said that you'd find him and you'd drag his sorry little butt back here." Happy said as cheerfully as he could.

"Yeah but now." The salamander looked at the river as fishes swam freely, "I'm not sure..." His eyes began to slowly close.

"Natsu?" Happy looked at his exhausted friend and stood up, "You should really sleep. If (Y/n) saw you like this, he would be scared to death."

"I...guess..." The salamander managed to say before completely falling into slumber.

Then a twig snaps, alarming the blue exceed.

"W-Who's there?" He asked nervously.

"Happy? Is that really you?" It was a familiar voice. When the person emerged from the bushes, it had sent the exceed to tears.

"(Y/N)!!!!" Because of the loudness in Happy's scared the birds away, it woke the sleeping fire dragon slayer.

"WHAT?!! WHERE'S THE DANGER?!" 

"No IDIOT!!"  Happy hugged your head tightly, "(Y/N) IS BACK!!"

Those words froze the dragon slayer. In disbelief, Natsu stepped towards you as you did the same. He placed a hand on your head, then on your arm then cupped your face and smiled since he was almost brought to tears, "You're really back..?"

"Yes, I'm back..." You placed your ruined hands on his smooth and silk - like hands and returned the smile.

"Good. Then that means that I can do this to you." He pulled your face towards his until his lips met with yours.

"Let's go back home."

--- At Fairy Tail ---

"Erza's got a point.. instead of being selfish. Maybe we should help too..." Levy said with guilt. Then Natsu bursts through the doors with a big smile plastered all over his face.

"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" Gray looked suspicious, "I thought you were-"

"Of course I'm pissed off still." Then walked in and confronted Makarov.

"Would you care to explain-"

Just as he was asking, you jumped from behind the opened doors, all dirty and with tattered clothes as well as some bandaged areas like your leg and forearms. Normally, cursing wasn't exactly something you were very fond of but because you were so overwhelmed to see everyone, you just couldn't help it, "SURPRISE MOTHERF-"

"LANGUAGE!!!!" Happy screamed.
