Natsu x Male!Reader

Worries.

"Will.. he be okay?"

"His eye certainly looks damaged, but he'll live. However, that doesn't mean you should go and do stupid things, you hear?"

"I understand but... I didn't do anything wrong."

"He's right, all he did was walk into the guild." Happy interrupted as he ate his fish.

"Really? Isn't this interesting..." She sighed and stood from her chair, "Just make sure that he gets plenty of rest."

"Alright then.." Natsu replied as he took the confused male into his arms, "I'll make sure he gets better." Then left.

--- A few hours later... ---
Natsu's POV:

I decided it was better to take (Y/n) back to my place. I guess it's because I... really didn't want to lose him again. Even when he comes back, unharmed, I always get this feeling that something's missing but I can never put my finger on it. I promised that if he was lonely,  I'd be there next to him. If he were falling, I'd be the one who'd catch him, I promised to be there for him and that promise won't be broken,  even if it meant turning against everyone.

"Natsu?" I looked at Happy as he sat next to my on the couch, "He's gonna be okay, you don't need to be creepy and watch him sleep..."

"Hey, who're you callin' 'Creepy'?" I frowned, "In case you forgot, Ice block strips and attacks people at night, naked. I dunno 'bout you, but that's disturbingly creepy and totally uncalled for."

"You mean Gray? Yeah... I'll admit that he has a stripping problem-"

"Even Shenron couldn't grant Icicle's wish to stop stripping."

"Who's Shenron?"

"That green dragon that grants your wish if you find all 7 dragon balls."

"Umm... Okay...?"
Happy looked at me a bit awkwardly but soon went back to his bed. I should get some sleep...
