Six Months Later

Lexi's POV

"I can't believe my little princess is growing up!" My mom gushed. She looked like she was about to cry. I smiled at her, placing my hand on her shoulder.

"Well, you better go take your seat. They're starting the ceremony in about ten minutes." I said.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around me. "I'm so proud of you. Beyond proud."

"Thanks for coming, mom."

She let go of me, giving me one last smile and walked towards the gymnasium.

Today was finally the day. Graduating high school. It has been a long year but I managed to get through the ups and down. First semester was a breeze but second semester was a bit difficult. Not because of the classes, but because of tutoring Justin the player of the school, falling in love with him, causing drama with Nicole and losing Sasha as a friend. It was all worth it, to be with him. I've seen a dramatic change in him in the span of six months. I've seen the soft, romantic, loyal side to his childish, cheesy side and I'm proud to say that he's my boyfriend.

Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. Without looking back, I smiled warmly.

"You look gorgeous babe." Justin whispered into my ear, then kissing my cheek. Giggling, he let go of me and I turned around to him in his graduation gown which was similar to mine. All black with the blue and white collars.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I smirked, checking him out. He winked and held my hand.

"We better get going. The ceremony starts in a couple of minutes." He said.

Nodding, I held his hand as we walked to the doors of the gymnasium. We had to break apart since we were being seated in alphabetical order, therefore Justin would be near the front and I was in the middle of the bunch. As people got in their order, we started to walk.

"Walk down the isle, sit down in your assigned chairs and don't forget to smile!" A staff member reminded us.

The line started to move, entering the gymnasium. Once I got inside, it was filled with people and decorations. I started to tense up but remembered that this is a big accomplishment that I should be proud of. I smiled as I walked towards the chairs as people began to film them up. I sat down on in the middle

Once we were at settled, the principal of the school went up on stage.

"Good evening everyone. Thank you for coming to this special ceremony. Tonight, your son or daughter will be graduating high school, becoming responsible, successful, young adults, First off, I would like to start with a couple of speeches from our staff members."

I sat back in my seat. This is going to be an interesting night.

: : :

"Now I would like to introduce to you the graduating class of 2012!"

The crowd started cheering and whistling. People were ready to take pictures to capture this moment.

"Randy Aarons." The principal announces.

Randy from the front row stood up and went on stage to receive his diploma. Everyone clapped and cheered. He shook hands with the adults on stage and once he want off stage he started to pump his fists in the air I'm excitement.

For the next ten minutes, they were calling names of students to receive their diploma.

"Justin Bieber."

I turned my head towards the stage once I heard his name. I smiled when I saw him practically running up the stage. His smile was so big, grinning from ear to ear. He received his diploma and everyone clapped including me. He whispered something to the principal. He nodded as he gave Justin the microphone.

The room got quiet as Justin cleared his throat.

"So, uh, I would like to thanks beautiful mother, Pattie, for believing in me and for always being there for me whenever I need her. I would like to thank all my family who came here tonight just to watch me graduate, which they thought would never happen."

The gym burst into snickers and laughs. Justin chuckled and looked towards me. I felt my heart race as al eyes were on me now.

"Lastly, I would like to thank Lexi Miller, my tutor who also happens to be my girlfriend."

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"For helping me through everything. Without her, I wouldn't be up here right now. Thank you for having to deal with me for the last six months. I love you." He pointed at me. I smiled at him and mouthed out the words "I love you too."

"Thank you everybody!" Justin said loudly in the microphone before handing it back to the principal.

The whole room clapped and cheered, except for Nicole who happened to be sitting two rows in front of me.
