Third Peron POV

Lexi, Justin, Nicole, and her parents sat in the waiting room in silence. None of them talked, nor moved a bit. Each of them was in their own thoughts, their own world, anxiously waiting for the answer that they have all been waiting for. Was Justin the father of Nicole's baby, or not? The door opened and a bunch of Nicole's, Justin's and Lexi's friends came in including Colton, Kayla, and Danlynn. They all rushed to either Lexi, Justin and Nicole and had their own little conversations with them to ease the tension.

"Did they come out with the results yet?" Kayla asked.

"Not yet." Lexi answered with a frown. "We've been waiting for hours."

"Hopefully it's negative."

"Me too." She whispered, not wanting Nicole to hear.

Colton stood in front of all of them with his hands in his pockets, looking around the room anxiously. Lexi was the only one who noticed. She raised an eyebrow at him.

"You okay Colton? You look like you're more nervous than all of us." She chuckled.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine." He answered back, looking at the ground.

"Okay...."Lexi trailed off. "Whatever you say."

Lexi looked at Kayla with a concerning face. "What's up with him?" She mouthed out. Kayla shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. "No clue. He wasn't like that in the car."

"The nurse is coming!" Nicole pointed out.

All of our attention was focused to the nurse. Justin grabbed Lexi's hand and held it tightly. Lexi did the same.

"Hello. We tested everything and we have found the results." The nurse said. She held a white envelope in her hands that will reveal the answer. Justin and Lexi were breathing hard, Nicole just stared at her and the others comformed the three of them.

The nurse unfoled the flap at the top and slid out a white piece of paper. The tension rose as she unfolded it.

"And the results are......"

"Positive."

Justin's eyes were wide and his jaw dropped as he looked at the nurse. "P-positive?!" He asked.

"Yes, positive. Congratulations Colton, you are the father of the baby."

Everyone gasped in shock. Colton looked at all of them and sighed.

"Colton?! What?! How?!" Justin questioned him.

"I came here a week ago and gave them a cheek swab and some of my blood. I told them to test it for Nicole's baby. And I'm the father of the baby." He confessed.

"Oh my unicorns!" Kayla covered her mouth. Everyone looked at her with a strange expression.

"So, Justin isn't the father?" Lexi asked the nurse, pointing to Justin. She shook her head.

"We tested Justin's cheek swab and blood and it turned out negative. I hope you are all happy. Good day." She smiled and left.

Justin and Lexi looked at each other and smiled. A weight was lifted off their chests, flying away far, far away. This is the answer they've been wanting to hear. This is the answer they wanted to know. The answer that they wanted, and they got it.
