Chapter 7

Lexi's POV

I sat down on the swinging chair in the backyard texting my best friend Kayla. I changed into some dry clothes.

Kayla:

You were going to tell me why you and Justin were fighting!

Lexi:

Not relevant anymore

Kayla:


And why is it not?

Lexi:

Because it was a stupid fight and he wasn't even mad at me this morning. He just forgave me and acted like his own self. Such a flirt :P

Kayla:

omg still!! please?! :3 I will never let it go.

Lexi:

Fine lol. Only because you're my best friend. Okay so apparently, I passed out from skateboarding on the street and Justin found me. He took me to his house and got me fixed up and I woke up and I was like "Why do you care" and shit like that. I had to admit, I was being really bitchy towards him. Then he called me an ungrateful bitch and I started to fight with him and left his house.

Kayla:

OMG LEXI!! And he forgave you today?

Lexi:

Yup

Kayla:

Something's up ;)

Lexi:

No something is not up

Kayla:

Yes! Something is up Lexi! At school, he NEVER EVER forgives a girl for their mistakes. He doesn't care about other girls' feelings! And he forgave you! That never happens with Justin.

Lexi:

You're over exaggerating Kayla! I bet he does care for other girls but he just doesn't show it.

Kayla:

Yeah and he shows it towards you ;)

Lexi:

Noooooo lol He pushed me in the pool today. Does he care? No, he was laughing.

Kayla:

Don't change the subject Lexi :) You know he does care.

I shook my head in denial. He doesn't care about me. I've only known him for barely two weeks. I'm just another girl to him. Another girl to play with! I mean nothing to him. I mean, at least I think...

-Last Day of the 2 week break-

Tutoring Justin this past week has been a breeze. He's been easy to work with, no interruptions at all. He's been focusing on his work, but he's also been extra flirty here and there. This was the final day out two week break which means tomorrow, we have to go to school.

I still have to tutor Justin but only four times a week; Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. That means I have more free time for myself and less time being bothered by him. Thank God!

Today is the day for myself. I get to do whatever I want today before school starts.

I looked in the mirror that was hanging on the front door. I was wearing a black crop top, a high waisted skirt, and a pair of white converse.

I threw my purse over my shoulder and headed out the door. I smile as I see my friends Kayla, Sasha, and Caitlyn in a red convertible.

"Lexi!" They all shouted in sync.

"Hey girls!" I waved back.

I walked over to the car and took a seat in the back beside Sasha. Kayla was driving and Caitlyn was in the passenger seat.

"Girls night out! Holla!!" Caitlyn cheered as she held both of her hands above her head.

We all laughed and seconds later, Kayla drove off.

The wind blew through my long luscious hair and it felt amazing. The radio was blasting to a Nicki Minaj song and we all attempted to rap, but failed. The while car ride was loud but fun. We talked about going back to school tomorrow, what happened during our breaks and some gossip.

"So Lexi, is anything happening between you and Justin?" Sasha winked and the other laughed.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked in a confused tone of voice.

Sasha took out her phone and scrolled down on a page. She handed me her phone and I took it. I looked at the screen to see that Facebook was opened. On the top of the page, It read Justin Bieber. His status said:

Justin Bieber:

And I can't get you off my mind.

My eyes widen as I saw the comments. 39 likes and 4 comments.

Chaz Somers:

Awh thank you <3 I can't get you off of my mind too.

I quietly laughed to myself at Chaz's comment.

Chaz Somers:

JK! Bro text me.

Nicole Hayes:

Justin text me.

Sasha May:

Is this about Lexi? ;)

My eyes were wide as ever and I looked at Sasha who was laughing.

"OH MY GOSH SASHA!" I gave her the phone back and tried to hide my pink cheeks. "WHY DID YOU COMMENT THAT!?" I squealed.

"I just wanted to know!" She smirked at me. "He didn't answer me so something might be up." She added

"Something is not up! I swear! I told Kayla this last night. Nothing is happening between me and him."

"Sure." Caitlyn shrugged.

"Caitlyn! You too?" I groaned.

"Yup." She answered back.

They all giggled together and I just sat there. He could be talking about any girl. Not just me.

"Okay girls, we're here!" Kayla said.

I looked to the left of me and we were downtown. It was a nice evening so the place was crowded. There was a ton of shops, a few arcades, bars, games, and restaurants and much more.

"Let's go to the arcade. I want to beat all of you in air hockey." Sasha said.

"Oh you're on!" I smiled.

Once we were in the arcade, we ran to the air hockey table that was not occupied at the moment. I took a side and Caitlyn took the other side. She inserted a quarter in the coin slot and the game started.

"Hey look who's here." Kayla nudged me, causing me to lose focus on the game.

I looked to where she was pointing and there was Justin and his friends playing billiards. He looked up and caught me staring at him. I quickly looked down and saw that Caitlyn scored while I was not focusing at all.

"Score!" She cheered loudly.

I smiled and took out the puck from the goal. I placed it on the table and hit it hard.

The whole game, I was glancing at Justin once in a while. Sometimes he would glance at me and we would just make awkward eye contact. I have no idea why I was looking at him. Not that I care.

I looked back down and saw that Caitlyn has scored again.

"I win." She cheered.

"Good game." I said.

She nodded as I took a few steps back so Kayla can take my place.

I couldn't help it but to take one more look at Justin. He caught my gaze and winked at me as he did a kissy face.

What just happened?
