Ryuko Matoi x Wolf! Female Reader

~Your POV~

I growled as I dug through the trash for any scraps of food with my paws. I let out a huff of frustration when I find nothing but wrappers and dirty apple cores. I wandered around the alley to see if I can sniff out any food. I haven't eaten anything for three days straight. I was starving. I heard my stomach growl loudly as I continued searching. 

My ears perked when I heard a stick snap. I quickly lifted my head to see what it was. I saw a girl and a younger boy talking loudly while walking. I flattened my ears a bit at how loud they were talking. I quietly made my way out of the alley and followed them. The girl had a bowl shaped haircut while the boy had his hair tied back with sunglasses. I felt my stomach pang from hunger. I crouched down and watched their movements. The boy was distracted for a moment. I used this time to quickly run over and knock him down.

He yelped and faced me. I bared my sharp fangs at him and growled deeply. "Mako help! Get this crazy dog off of me!!" He screamed. Dog?! I snapped my jaws in front of him causing him to scream like a little girl. "Shoo! Shoo doggie! Shoo!!" The girl named Mako told me while making weird hand gestures. I growled at her and barked loudly. 

"Oi!" I heard a female voice from behind me. I turned my head to see another girl who had blue eyes and black hair with a red piece. I got off the boy and faced her while growling deeply. She stared at me without fear in her eyes. It surprised me how fearless she was. I've never met anyone who would never look at me like that. They all usually start screaming and running away like pussies. 

Her eyes were a calming yet bright with passion blue eyes. "You think it's funny to just jump on them huh?" She snarled at me. I flicked my ears and kept growling. "Be careful Ryuko! That dog is scary!" Mako yelled to her.

I rolled my eyes and let out a small scoff. "Mako, this isn't a dog. It's a wolf." Ryuko sighed, shaking her head. "Ohhhh... That makes sense!.... Oh my god! Ryuko be careful! That's a wolf!" She screamed. I honestly felt pity for the girl for dealing with the bowl-haired idiot.

I felt my stomach rumble loudly enough to make her stop screaming. "It's gonna eat us!!" She started screaming while running in a circle. I flatten my ears from her screaming. I snapped my jaws at her legs causing her to fall. I scoffed and walked away. They weren't worth my time. I'm going to starve if I keep wasting my time with them.

"Hey!" The voice called to me. I turned my head back to see the girl with black hair approach me without any hesitation. I watched her approach me. I didn't do anything to stop her. She eventually reached me and bent down to look at me. She smiled slightly and stuck her hand into her jacket pocket.

She pulled out something from her pocket and held it out to me. I stared at it weirdly and looked back at her. It looked nothing like food. "I know. I thought so too. But it's food." She reassured me. I sniffed, making sure it was safe then ate it. She grinned brightly and sat with her legs crossed in front of me. "I've never seen a wolf wandering around here. I've seen stray dogs but never a wolf." She said with admiration in her eyes. I flicked my ears curiously as I stared back at her. I've never met a human that was like her. 

I sat down in front of her, wrapping my tail around my paws. She grinned brightly and held a hand out. "I'm Ryuko," She told me. I nodded and placed one of my paws in her hand. She chuckled and shook it. "I'm gonna name you (Y/N) since you're a girl. At least I think you are. I hope I get to see you around here." She told me, getting up. I frowned a bit as I watched her get up and dust off her clothes. "Sorry (Y/N). I have school. Besides if I don't go, my friend will probably get herself killed." She told me. She reached over and ruffled my fur. "I'll come by after school to see you. Bye (Y/N)!" She said, walking off to where her friend and the boy was. I watched as the girl started panicking again and grabbed Ryuko by her wrist and dragged her along the street with the boy following her.
