~Your POV~

"(Y/N)!" Yvonne called out. I turned my head to face my sister as she looked around with her telescope. "Mon chérie, do you mind scouting for me." She asked and handed me the telescope. I nodded in response, earning a grin from her. "Très bon!" She said and pat my pirate hat a little too rough causing it to cover my eyes. "He-Hey!" I complained and pushed the hat back up to see.

She gives me a cheerful grin before looking at the map she had rolled up. I sighed and looked through the telescope for any sign of land. I continued to look around till I found an island not too far away. "Yvonne, I found something," I told her and pointed in the direction of the island. Yvonne takes the telescope and looks at it for herself. Once she spotted the island, she lets out a cheer. "What are we waiting for?! Onwards, mon chérie!" She said. I sighed and adjusted the sails to sail us towards the island.

Once I was done, I took the telescope to look at the island again. I squinted my eyes to see there were people on the shore. "Yvonne, there are people on the shore," I told her. "Merde! Must be Malatesta's crew." She swore. "Why must you assume that everyone we see is a part of his crew?" I asked. "We'll continue on heading towards the island." She said, ignoring my question. I sighed and tucked the telescope away.

As we got closer to the island, the group of people turned their attention towards us. I gulped and hid behind the sails while my sister stood in the front. She's always been more confident that I was. She gracefully hops off the sailboat and approaches the group of people. I watched from behind the sail as she talked to them. I couldn't hear what she was saying but I knew it wasn't good when she pulled out her wheellock pistol and pointed it at one of the girls.

"Take me to Malatesta!" She growled. The guy began to panic and attempted to calm Yvonne down but it didn't work. "Did you not hear me? Take me to Captain Malatesta before I shoot all of you." She threatened.

I panicked and quickly got off the sailboat, not without stumbling a little. "Yvonne calm down!" I said once I got a hold of balance. "Petite enfant, get back on the sailboat. You don't want to watch this when I start firing." Yvonne said, shooing me aside. I frowned and looked up at her since she was taller and older than me. "Yvonne, please. You don't even know if they work for him." I said.

"She's right! You have no proof!" One of the girls said. "Look. We don't work for him okay? We don't work for anyone. Please mind putting down the gun?" One of the guys said. Yvonne narrows her eyes at her, still unsure if she should put down her gun or not. "Yvonne..." I warned. She sighs and puts away the pistol, "You're lucky this petite enfant is here to convince me or you would be dead." She said and patted me on the back hard, causing me to stumble a little and drop my hat.

I blushed embarrassed and looked away from the group of people and my sister. Luckily, Yvonne didn't notice and looked at her surroundings. I sighed and bent down to pick up my hat but someone else already picked it up. I looked up to see a beautiful girl with long red hair and blue eyes. She brushes the sand off my hat and looks at me. I felt my cheeks heat up as we made eye contact. She gives me a beautiful smile and hands me my hat, "You dropped this."

I felt my ears turn red and I reached for the hat. "Th-Thank you..." I stuttered and took the hat back. I put the hat back on and tried to tug my hat down a bit more to cover my ears. I glanced over at the girl to see that she was still looking at me. "I-I-Is there something on my face?" I asked. She shakes her head and says, "No it's not that. You're very pretty."

My face exploded from heat as I felt my face burning. I can't believe someone as beautiful as her would call someone like me pretty. "I'm Quinn." She said and held her hand out to shake. I nervously returned the handshake, "I-I'm (Y/N)." I tried to act normal but the thought of how soft her hand was kept running through my head.
