Chapter 19

For the past two weeks, I've been talking to Rome like damn near every day. He's actually a pretty cool dude it also doesn't hurt that he's cute. We've been flirting a whole lot and I guess you can say I'm starting to like him.

Right now I'm on my way to Walmart to go pick up some stuff for the house. There's barely any food left and I like to eat so that's definitely not working for me.

I pulled into Walmart's parking lot and parking seems impossible to find, it's a Saturday so everyone's out and about doing their weekend shopping. I was finally able to find a parking spot, I parked my car then hopped out heading inside the store.

I grabbed a buggy then went to the snack aisle first. I grabbed a box of Rice Krispie treats, Two boxes of assorted chips(one hot and one regular), a jar of cheese balls, a box of Oreos, 12 bags of takis since they don't come in packs, a box of welches fruit snacks and a variety mix box that has fruit roll-ups, gushers, and fruit by the foot.

Next, it was the juice aisle, I Grabbed four boxes of Capri Suns, a case of sunny d's, a case of Naked juice and two cases of water bottles. Now it's time to get real food.

I went to the bread aisle and Grabbed hot dog buns, Hamburger rolls, Hawaiian Rolls and A loaf of Nature's Own Whitebread. Then I went to pick up some Thin Spaghetti and Fettuccine pasta. I also picked up spaghetti sauce and Alfredo sauce.

I went to the dairy aisle and got Eggs, Milk, Cheese, and Yogurts. I also got bacon, sausage, hot dogs and salami not too far away. I grabbed some Chicken breast, pork chops, steak, ground beef then grabbed shrimp and salmon from the seafood section.

I went to the freezer section and grabbed a box of hot pockets, pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, fries, ice cream, and a few frozen dinners.

I went to produce and grabbed strawberries, Grapes, peaches, a bag of apples, a bag of oranges and a bunch of bananas. I went to the deli and got sandwich meats. I grabbed a few more items and now I'm finally at the cashier.

"Hey, how are you?" The older cashier asked as she started to scan my items

"I'm fine and you"

"I'm good baby thanks for asking," she said still scanning my items.

While she's scanning and placing my stuff into bags I'm putting the bags into the buggy. She finally finishes bagging everything and tells me my total.

"Your total is $298.65," she said looking up at me

I took my Card out of my wallet.

"Credit or Debit?"

"Debit"

She punched a few things into a register then told me to go ahead and swipe. I swiped then entered my pin and waited for it to approve.

When it approved she handed me my receipt telling me to have a nice day. I responded saying you too then pushed my buggy outside to my car.

It's dark and cloudy out and looks as if it's about to rain. I walked to my car a bit faster and opened my trunk putting everything inside. I pushed the buggy to the side along with the others and hopped in my car and made my way back home.

When I arrived home I packed out all of the groceries putting everything where they're supposed to go. When I was finished I went to go shower.

Now I'm in the middle of cooking. I'm making barbecue chicken with Mac and cheese. It took me about 45 minutes to make everything. I ate then went upstairs and laid down to watch something on Netflix.
