Myles POV

I just got out baseball practice, and I'm waiting for my sister to pick me up
"Hey Scotts" I heard my coach yelled for me and I turned around
"Hey" I said and he came up to me
"I just want to let you know how well you're doing" he said and I nodded
"Well thank you" I said and he smiled and spoked up
"So I am wondering if you would like to be on my traveling team" he asked and my eyes went wide
"Whoa seriously?" I said and he nodded
"Oh yes, we need a catcher and you are what I'm looking for, youre absoutely incredible" he said and I smiled and I took a breath
"Well thanks, but I'll have to talk to my parents" I said and he nodded
"Well of course, tell them to give me a call" he said I nodded and I heard the car horn and seen Max
"Hey I have to go, but I'll definitely have them call you" I said I grabbed my batbag and walked away and put my stuff in the back
"Sorry Myles, I got stuck by a train" Max said
"Its not a problem" I said as I got in the passenger seat and spoked up
"So I just got asked to be on the traveling team" I said and Max looked at me
"Bub that's awesome" she said and I nodded
"Do you think mom and dad will let me?" I asked and she gave a look
"I don't see why not" she said and I smiled
"Do you want to?" She asked and I nodded
"I really do" I said and then she finally turn the car on
"Well then talk to mom and dad" she said and I nodded and her phone went off
"Will you read that for me" she said and I nodded and I read the message from James

J: I'll pick you up at 7

"Why is James picking you up at 7?" I asked and she took a breath
"He's taking me bowling" she said and I spoked up
"So a date?" I said and she nodded
"You can say that" she said
"Max, I know you're older, but I'm still protective, so if he hurts you, I'm not gonna let it go" I said and she smiled
"Myles it will be okay" she said and I smiles, I seriously think me and Max has the strongest bond of our siblings, but family is everything, I'm protective over all of my sisters, and my mom, I am not ashamed to admit that I'm a mommas boy, after a while we pulled up to our house and got out and we walked in
"Were back" Max yelled as she ran upstairs and my mom came up
"Hey bub" she said
"Hi mom" I said as I kissed her cheek and walked in the kitchen and she followed me
"How was practice?" She asked
"I got ask to play for a travel team" I said and her eyes went wide
"Really!?" She said and I nodded
"Yes" I said
"Do you want to?' She asked and I nodded
"Well of course" I said and she smiled
"Okay well then I'll call your coach" she said and I smiled
"Thanks mom" I said as I hugged her and she hugged back
"Alright your welcome bub, but youre sweaty, please go shower" she said as she laughed
