Lisa's POV
Jared put his hands over his face and spoked up
"I'm sorry Lise" he said and I just took a breath
"Hey its okay" I said knowing he couldn't help it because the doctor worn me about if
"Can I talk to you?" The doctor asked and I nodded and I walked and followed him out the door and he turned around to face me
"So his TBI couldve been a lot worse, but however there some swelling but that is gonna go down, but I know that you're concern about him being aggressive" he said and I nodded
"Yes" I said and I spoked up
"Is that going to be permanent" I said and he shook his head
"No it shouldn't be, since its not too bad of a injury, but I have no idea how long" he said and I nodded and he spoked up
"You seemed a little scared" he said and I nodded
"Yeah, he is type of guy that is always calm, even when he's mad, he usually never lashes out, not at me anyway" I said and he spoked up
"It will be okay, I promise" he said and I nodded
"But one thing concerns me, he loves his job, but will he ever be able to work again?" I asked and he took a deep breath
"That's hard to tell right now, he's a paramedic, and a damn good one too, but right now its hard to tell, we got to see how his memory is, which so far is good, his fast thinking, his way of multitasking, which is why we are doing this observation thing and some physical therapy but just stay in good thoughts because everything is looking good" he said and walked away and I went back to Jared's room and then I heard
"Mommy" I turned around to see Myles running towards and I smiled as I seen my mom and the other kids
"Hey buddy" I said lifting him
"I miss you" I added as I kissed his cheek and I smiled as Maxine, Jordin, and came up, I hugged them all everything and I decided to let them
"Wanna go see daddy" I said and they nodded and we walked in the room
"Look who's here to see you" I said and Jared smiled really big and the kids went up to him and I looked at my mom
"Thanks for bringing them" I said and she smiled
"They've been asking for you guys, and I think you guys missed them too" she said and I smiled
"Missed them like crazy" I admitted and she spoked up
"So what's the update?" She asked and I took a breath
"He been kinda aggressive, he threw his food across the room, but the doctor said that's normal and it not permanent, but also they are gonna keep him here for a couple days for observation and his mom said she will be happy to keep the kids if you want a break" I said and she took a breath
"No its fine" she said and I nodded
"Have they been good?" I asked and she nodded
"Oh yes" she said and I nodded and she looks at me
"What?" I said and she spoked up
"Have you told Jared that you're pregnant?" She asked and I shook my head
"No, not yet, it not a good time" I said and we looked over at him and the kids and they were all laughing and giggling which caused me to smiled and my mom spoked up
"I think there is something you need to tell your husband lise"
