Lisa's POV
Today is Max's birthday and we are getting ready for the family get together, I can't believe my oldest is 17 now, its making me feel old, all of my babies are growing up, but Max has been begging for her own car, so me and Jared decided to get her one, he walked in the house
"Where did you put the car?" I asked and he smiled
"In the garage, she will never look there" he said and I smiled and then Maxine came down
"Aw there's my birthday girl" I said and kissed her forehead
"Hi mom" she said
"Happy birthday sweetheart" Jared said as he gave her a hug and people started showing up, and everyone finally arrived and we decided to bring out the cake and everyone sung happy birthday to her and she had a big smile on her face and she blew our the candles and then James who she been seeing came
"Am I too late?" He asked and I shook my head
"No you're fine hun" I said and he smiled and went and sit next to Max and I just smiled and Christina came up to me
"Whos that?" Christina asked
"A guy that Max is seeing" I said and she smiled
"How's that" she asked and I nodded
"Good, haven't made her cry yet which explains that he's still here" I said and she laughed
"Do I need to talk to him?" She asked and I laughed
"Nah, he seems respectful and everything" I said and she nodded and she decided to open the presents and she got quite a bit of money, some make up and a couple books and then Jared and I decided to give her the car now
"Hey max, come here" I said and she got up and walked towards me
"What is it?" She asked and I took a bandana out
"Were gonna have to blindfold you" I said and she looks at me
"Gonna mess up my make up" she said and I whispered
"Youre getting more like me everyday I tell ya" I said and she chuckled and put it on
"Where are we going?" She asked and I laughed
"You'll see" I said as I took her to front yard and everyone followed us
"Alright you ready?" I asked and she nodded and Jared pulled up in the car and took the blindfold off
"Happy Birthday" I said and her eyes went wide
"This is for me?" She asked and I nodded
"Yes it is" she said and Jared came up and she smiled
"Oh my gosh you're the best parents ever" she said as she came and hugged us and I smiled and she spoked up
"This is seriously mine?" She asked and we nodded and she hugged us again
"Just one condition" I said and she looked at me
"You have to share with Myles when he get his license" I said and she nodded
"Sure" she said all happy, my girl is happy, thats what its all about

Max's POV
I was just sitting outside and then James came up
"Hey" I said and he smiled
"So I haven't gave you your birthday present yet" he said and I smiled
"You didnt have to get me anything" I said and he just shrugged and he handed me a box and I opened it and it was a gorgeous necklace
"Now you seriously didn't have too" I said and he smiled
"But I want to" he said and we both look up at the sky
"The stars are gorgeous" I said and he spoked up
"Not as gorgeous as you" he said and I just looked at him and we both started to lean in and then he stopped himself
"Max, I'm sorry" he said and he looked away
"Its okay" I said and he shook his head
"No its not, I should wait til I know you are ready" he said and I spoked up
