Mason and Alec were training all night. Izzy was out and Jace and Clary went as well. They found their weapons and all they had to do was wait for daytime so the vampires are most vulnerable.
"I can't do this" Mason groaned after being knocked on the ground for the hundredth time. Alec wasn't even tired.
"Yes you can, now get up" He said holding his hand out and helping him up. Mason got up. They fought for a while until Mason finally knocked Alec on his feet and when Alec tried to trip him, he jumped over. Alec looked up and smiled. "You did it!"
Mason smiled and laughed. "I did it?" Alec nodded happily "I did it!" He cheered. He waved his arms up in the air but he then felt Alec trip him up and he landed on the ground again.
"You have gotta be quicker than that" He said walking off. Mason groaned and got up. He still had a few hours until they went on the mission and Mason needed sleep. As soon as he hit the bed he felt his muscles relax and he fell asleep.
A FEW HOURS LATER
Mason woke up and checked the time on his phone.He was only asleep for a few hours but it made a big difference to how he felt.
He walked into his bathroom and took a shower, making sure he was clean and changing into fighting gear like Alec told him to. He didn't know what place him and Alec were in at the minute. What he did know was that he wouldn't do anything until he apologized.
He walked over to the weapons room and saw Alec with his stele running it over one of his arrows. His eyes were squinting slightly and he looked intensely concentrated. The way he ends of his hair was curling just over his eye nearly made Mason swoon. Which was odd, since he never swooned. Never the less, he walked over to him breaking his concentration.
"Hey" He said looking around. Alec put down his stele and bow and nodded towards him.
"Okay, Mason I'm sorry about Simon" He said finally giving up. Mason was surprised. He definitely didn't expect Alec to apologize so soon. "It was really out of line for me to treat Simon like that, I didn't know it upset you so much" Mason smiled.
