Clary was looking around exasperated. "Can't Magnus Bane portal us in?"
"No" Mason and Alec said at the same time making the others go confused but Izzy smirked.
"That would be awkward" She said whilst receiving glares for Alec and Mason which she ignored. "Magnus can only portal us to places he has been before" Izzy said and Clary's phone started to ring making Clary and Jace's attention turn to her bag. When they were looking at that Izzy looked up to the pair and held a thumbs up and winking making Mason roll his eyes. Cary looked at her phone and groaned.
"Give me a second" She answered the phone and walked away. "Simon, this is really not a good time..." Mason turned but Jace was already walking over to Clary and snatching the phone out of her hand and ending the call. "Hey!"
"Simon's little problem can wait. I've got a great plan" He said making Clary roll her eyes.
"Oh there's a first" Clary said putting the phone back in her bag and Jace laughed sarcastically.
"God guys stop flirting already. I cant take the heat!" Mason shouted and started to fan himself. Isabelle and Jace smirked, even Alec had a small grin, but Cary was unimpressed.
IN THE PRECINCT
Clary and Jace went their own way leaving the other three walking into the precinct just beside the receptionist. "I'm guessing you're the distraction" Alec said. Izzy shook her head.
"Nope. I've decided to grow up remember? No more distracting for me" She said and Mason grinned.
"Besides, I don't think Izzy is her type" Mason said a smirk playing on his lips. Alec glared at the smaller boy but didn't say anything to him.
"Don't worry it's good practice" Izzy said. But Alec gave a confused look. "You know...When you finally get the guts to ask out Mason." She said smirking but Mason scoffed. He walked over to they boy and undid a few of his buttons. This shocked Alec, so he tried to push him off.
"What are you doing?" He asked getting flustered.
"Im unbuttoning you'r shirt what does it look like im doing?" Alec looked at Izzy for help. But she was grinning widely.
