After a full night of Magnus doing spells and Hodge making tea and Izzy fussing about how Alec should get some sleep, He waited by Mason's bedside being the only person not to leave it. He slept so peacefully but that worried Alec.
"Alec?" His head snapped up and seen Magnus standing there.
"Hey, I-I-I was told to do a checkup so I will just let you get to it" Alec said leaving but Magnus pulled him back.
"Alec, its okay. You can stay, I know how much he would love to see you wake up" Magnus said. Alec didn't say anything. He just sat back down in his seat as he watched Magnus's hands light up as they hovered over Mason's body. "He will be fine" Magnus said dropping his hands back to his sides. Alec looked up at him.
"Really?" He asked and Magnus nodded.
"Alec, I know you like Mason, and before you go into an extremely boring rant about how the law is the law, you need to understand that you'r feelings matter and so do Mason's. So do us all a favor and ask him out" He then left not letting Alec respond. He sighed and leaned back on his chair.
Mason's eyes began to flutter open. Alec looked around the room. "Izzy!" He shouted. She came running in with Clary behind her. "Mason?" He opened his eyes and smiled but that was soon replaced by the look of pain on his face.
