"I do believe in fairies! I do! I do!” -J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
-First Person/Peter-
Racing through the woods, I gripped the compass and clothing my hardest. If I were to ever hesitate or pause--even for a moment--something terrible would happen, it felt like. More worried then ever, I breathed heavily as I searched with my eyes to hold back my tears. My vision can't be messed with right now, especially right now. "Misty!?" I yelled as I continued my speed walking. Nothing but trees--I couldn't see anything else, just trees. Nearly frustrated, I began to run.
Having no idea where to go at all, I just kept running hoplessly. But as I was running, the sudden image of a waterfall started to fill my head. Uncontrollably, I stopped. The world infront of me faded out to white. Looking now, I saw the waterfall from the perspective of looking down upon it. I then felt something push my back and I was now falling down the waterfall. I could also feel my wrists tied behind my back as well as a cloth of some sort over my mouth.
Now trying to fly, I couldn't, my happy thoughts kept turning into Misty and I's fight. Then I felt tears suddenly pour from my eyes weirdly enough. And before I knew it, I felt my entire body hit the water. There was a god awful pain that filled my stomach and head forcing me to close my eyes. Then when I opened them, I saw a whole lot of blood red and then pale skin, but it wasn't my pale skin, and then there was a mermaids tail. Though, I suddenly felt my head swell like it was going to explode and I blacked out.
Suddenly, I opened my eyes now. My hands had been placed on the ground as well as my knees. Feeling my face scrunch up in confusion, I shook my head. It was almost like I had been dreaming of falling down a waterfall, but why? And how? Gasping, I instantly remembered the mermaids and how they used to be able to send visions. Maybe what I just witnessed was a vision sent from the mermaids. And maybe, I had just seen the perspective of Misty!
My ears then perked at the sounds of rushing water. Slowly, I got up while turning around. My eyes widened at the sight of the same waterfall I had just seen in my vision of some sort. "Peter!!"
I suddenly heard Misty's voice echo in my head. She sounded tortured almost. Her voice was strained and excruciating. Though it was only an echo, a distant one...in my head. As fast as I could, I ran to the waterfall. Nearly falling, I caught myself with the help of a rock. My hands clamped on the stone, I allowed myself to lean over a little to peer down upon the side of the waterfall. Examining the point of where the water finishes dropping, I struggled to see through the white at which clouded the waterfall's plunge pool.
Failing terribly, I felt my nerves jump. Misty was no where. I then peered down the river at which connected with the plunge pool and tried to figure out where it led to. From a rough memory, I figured out the river dropped in the ocean of the west beach in Neverland. Instantly, I shot up and flew that way, strongly holding onto my happy thought.
-Third Person/Omniscient-
Zooming in on Smee's ship, the window to the Captain's Quarters was open. Inside, Smee sat with his feet on his table drinking rum happily. There was then a knock at his door. Smee paused. "Who be you to bother me at a time like this?!" He threatened hoping that whoever knocked at his door would leave him alone. Though the person did just that.
"Cap'n, I have some concern."
"Is it really that important?!" Smee snapped.
"Aye, aye, Cap'n it is." The person said.
"Bloody hell, fine, come in, but don't make me regret it!!" Smee threatened once more.
