“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it.” -J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
-First Person/Peter-
I woke up, my arm's held nothing, Misty wasn't within them. "What the...?" I said while pulling myself up from the ground. Rubbing my eye's, I searched around to see if I could spot her. "Misty?!" I called, a little uneasy. There was no sight of her and I began to walk away from the camp a little confused and a little nervous. The sun was pinned high in the sky, irritating my eye's. It felt as if I was barley meeting success at finding her. Surly, she couldn't of wondered far, seeing how she had no idea where she was going..."WAIT." I said to myself suddenly realizing something and started racing back to the camp.
I flew through the trees with such speed, everything in front of me became a blur. Finally, I made it back huffing and puffing. Reaching the bags we packed, I dug endlessly in hopes of finding the map still in its place and that Misty didn't take it when she got up. My eye's danced all over the place not at all finding the map. "Crap." I said to myself. The fairy dust wasn't in the bag either.
Forcing myself to a quick standing position, I struggled to remember where the map was heading after this point. Soon, it came to mind and I started on the trail again running once more. "Misty!!!!!" Yelling, I continued to run. It wasn't long before I came to a certain point in the woods when I spotted Misty. Stopping, I silenced my heavy breathing. She was walking in deep frustration glimpsing at the map a few times.
"Where in Gods name-ughh-how does Peter read these things?!" I heard her mumble.
Instantly, as she started to make a turn, I ran for her, causing noise and startling her. She screamed and I tackled her. The map and fairy dust flung from her hand. Her small body lay beneath me, struggling to push me off of her. "AHHHH get off of me!!!!!!!" She yelled.
"NO! NOWAY IN HELL AM I GOING TO!" She groaned, still fighting to grab the stuff. I kept taking her wrists and pinning them to her sides. But it was no use. She kept releasing them. Eventually, she rolled on her stomach and I pulled her by the hips to get her back under me. "What are you doing Misty!?!?!"
"Whats it look like I'm doing!? I'm getting out of here! After I find this darn key!"
"You don't even know how to read a map!"
"I was learning!!!!"
"You can't learn anything then!" I continued pulling on her till I felt her kicked me in between the leg's. Groaning in pain, I fell onto my back in weakness, releasing her finally. (I guess Peter shouldn't of insulted her. lol!) It was almost as if I was dieing! She had a strong foot! "Dammit, god! What the hell Misty!" A string of curse words spilled from my mouth before I was able to move myself.
After moments and moments of agony, I spotted Misty almost snatching the map. Struggling to ignore the deep pain between my leg's, I managed to yank her back with one hand and dragged myself to the map, grabbing it moments before she did, including the fairy dust! She tried to take it from me so I shot up in a standing position, she did the same. Continuing trying to take it from me, I held it up high. "Nope! No!" Backing up, I stumbled a little, as did Misty. I was eventually backed into a tree, my arm still holding up the map and fairy dust.
Jumping, Misty fought for the things once more. She tried a series of things, pulling on my arm that was in the air. I endlessly smacked her hand away till she finally got past my smacks and grabbed my bicep managing to get my arm down. Though I lifted it again. Still she fought. "GIVE ME THEM PETER!" I shook my head.
"No!"
"Yes! Or I'll kick you in the balls again!"
"No, because-" I threw the stuff and strapped Misty to the ground, pinning her arms above her head. She was now in between my legs, trapped.
