Gypsy pushed the old truck hard, flooring the gas pedal, trying to get away from Daryl as fast as she could. After getting about 10 miles out, Gypsy pulled the truck to the side of the road to have her inevitable breakdown. Sobbing into the steering wheel, she wiped her nose and quieted as a walked when moaning by. Sitting there trying to think what to do next, she watched as another walked by. Getting a bad feeling, Gypsy turned on her headlights and gasped in horror seeing one of the largest herds of walkers she had ever seen! Shutting the lights back off, she started the truck and put it in reverse. Turning the truck around, she headed right back to Alexandria. As much as she hated Daryl, this dead mass was heading straight for them and she knew she would never be able to live with herself if she didn’t warn them.

Daryl ran back to the house and frantically looked for his shirt and boots.
“Was that Gypsy?” Tara asked attentively
Daryl nodded yanking on his t-shirt
“Wow, Aaron was right, she really is a hottie” Tara tried to tease
Daryl stopped for a moment, staring at the ground then began dressing again.
“Daryl, what’s wrong? Why did she leave like that?” Tara asked, knowing something was really bothering him.
Daryl sighed deeply
“I’m not sure. I followed her to her truck and tried to figure out what was going on but she freaked out….she started talking about my ‘other girlfriends’ and how much she hated me” Daryl said sadly.
Tara stared at him stunned
“She thinks you and I…?” she asked softly
Daryl nodded
“Apparently” he said bitterly
Tara gave a small laugh
“Well, tell her the truth…that I’m gay. Love you to pieces Daryl but sorry you don’t get my motor running” She smiled trying to ease his worry.
“Right back at ya” Daryl said softly “I dunno, it was more than just that…..she was really….really upset. When I left earlier everything was fine and now….I just don’t understand what happened between then and now” Daryl said, clearly hurt.
Yanking on his other boot, Daryl stood, grabbing a jacket and punching his arms through the sleeves.
“Don’t worry about it Daryl, you’ll catch up to her and figure this out. Everything will be fine” Tara smiled, still trying to make him feel better
Daryl shook his head
“Truthfully, I’m beginning to wonder if she’s even worth all this aggravation” Daryl muttered and started back out the door.
Daryl walked to his bike but stopped after seeing her truck come tearing back through the gates again.
Great, he thought. She’s still on the warpath and wasn’t done telling him where to go.
Watching her get out of the truck and look around frantically, he suddenly felt concerned.
“Gypsy?” he called needing to know what had her so out of sorts.
Gypsy looked at him and he watched as relief, fear, sadness and then anger crossed her features. Yep, still mad, he thought.
“Daryl, where’s Rick?” Gypsy commanded
Daryl sighed
“Gypsy listen, whatever goes on between us stays between us, we don’t need Rick being a part of this” Daryl said grumpily
