Gypsy grinned as Daryl wrinkled his nose as she tickled his face with her hair. Blinking his eyes open, she kissed him softly and grinned again.

“What are you doing trouble?” he whispered sleepily, grabbing her and pulling her on top of him.

“Trying to get you to stop snoring” Gypsy retorted, laughing hysterically as he began to tickle her.

“I do not snore” Daryl playfully glared at her but smiled as she giggled

“Explain to me then why my house was shaking while you were breathing” Gypsy laughed

Gypsy’s laugh was soon cut off by Daryl’s deep kiss. Sighing contended Gypsy pushed the hair back from his eyes, she hoped they could stay like this forever….

“Gypsy, I hate to do this, but I’m going to have to leave…” he started

Or not.

Gypsy nodded, unable to speak for fear of starting the waterworks again.

“But I want you to come with me” Daryl said softly, running his hand through her soft hair.

Gypsy’s heart fluttered, things really had changed between them.

“OK” she said quietly, kissing him softly.

“I want to take you back to Alexandria and introduce you to everyone….and I want you to talk to Tara. I don’t want to hear any objections” Daryl said as Gypsy tried to interrupt “I don’t want any doubts between us Gypsy plus Tara is good to talk to….I can’t really explain it but she just has a way that makes you feel better”

Gypsy thought about it then finally nodded.

“OK, but on one condition” She said staring at him.

Daryl rolled his eyes, what was it with her and her conditions?

“Depends on the condition” he said curious to what she was going to say.

“That we take a detour on the way to Alexandria” She said softly

Daryl grinned and ran his hands over her body.

“Not that kind of detour you horny thing” she giggled “Seriously, I really want to stop at Hilltop, I miss the kids and they probably are wondering where we’ve been”

Daryl nodded

“You’re right and I think it’s a good idea” he said, kissing her again “We should probably get up and go talk to Ezekiel” he finished

Gypsy nodded again in agreement. Getting dressed, the two strolled hand in hand towards Ezekiel’s. Feeling as someone was burning a hole through her with their stare, Gypsy’s breath caught as her eyes met with Richard’s. She could tell he was livid and normally it would make her laugh but his stare….for the first time in her life it scared her. Looking away and holding onto Daryl tighter, she tried to ignore the cold shudder she felt on her spine.

Daryl looked down at Gypsy and frowned….he didn’t mind her wanting to be closer to him but he could tell she was worried and scared…why would she be like this here, in her home? Wrapping his arm around her waist, they continued to walk until they got to Ezekiel’s.

“What to go see Shiva first?” Daryl smiled at her as she nodded enthusiastically

Walking into Shiva’s room, they were greeted by a happy roar which made both grin. Heaping attention on the affectionate tiger, Daryl and Gypsy turned seeing Ezekiel’s smiling face come through the door.

“Daryl, Gypsy….so good to see you both” Ezekiel smiled

Gypsy stood, hugging Ezekiel softly
