Okay, so I promised I'd post the first chapter of my sequel to Green Lantern's Daughter. And here it is!!!

No one saw

No one heard

No one heard even a single whispered word

Elementum, was gone.

It was true, Elementum was gone and dead, and she was never coming back. Kee couldn't bring herself to still be that girl anymore, not after what happened that fateful night. So now she was different, older, stronger, braver. She wasn't some blubbering child anymore, not after what she'd seen.

She was Rising Storm

and like a storm, her powers responded to her with fierce intensity. She'd had five years to practice, after all. Even if she had no one to practice with, not since Kaldur had left.

Kaldur had betrayed them, had betrayed her, and she didn't take kindly to betrayal anymore. It was unacceptable, and no one could play her heart like that again. Not if she had a say in it.

Her father was still the same loving dad, and she adored him for it. Her love of Green Lantern had not changed and it never would. She still treated him like he was a king, after all, he was the only one she could truly count on now. They were all each other had left, beside Carol, who was like a second mother to her.

" Rising Storm?" The tired voice inquired.

She turned, her great height letting her stand a head taller than the short civilian. He was dressed like most people these days, old clothes, covered in dirt and grime.

She nodded, and the civilian didn't expect much more. They all new she didn't speak to anyone but her father with her real voice.

" The league needs your help on the south side of  F.I.S.T, The Green Bandit's followers are snooping the area again, and you are needed," He informed, rubbing his temples tiredly, eyes downcast.

She placed a hand on his shoulder comfortingly, and he looked up in to her fierce, scarred face with a mystified look.

The civilians of F.I.S.T knew she didn't give comfort often, much less touched others willingly, and here she was comforting him.

She patted him on the shoulder, silently thanking him, before flying up in to the air, her black cloak flying around behind her, it was her time to go to action. And he watched her go, a grimace, ace on his face.

" God protect you, child, God protect you," The man whispered, voice choking on emotion.

F.I.S.T,

Final

Inland

Survivor's

Trail

At least that's what they called the trek up to the mountain where they took refuge. Even the Watchtower wasn't safe anymore. It hadn't been for five years.

The mountain had been hollowed out, she and Superman had seen to that. Now the civilians who survived the Green Bandit's initial attacks were hiding out in the mountain, in small tunnels where they could escape from if necessary.

For outside was dangerous, and the followers of the Bandit were roaming all over in search of them. Only closing charms from Zatanna and Doctor Fate allowed them to remain hidden.

After all, both were dead and gone now, because the light had trusted Green Bandit. At leas they had, until the villain turned on them as well. Young Justice didn't worry about them anymore, what they worried about now, was her.
